I’m familiar with one-handed keyboard surfing protocol… and luckily I work from home, but if I were in the office, if my coworkers don’t want to see it they don’t have to look.

Yep, unless you're wearing tighty whities.

Keep in mind, there is no up or down in space. It would go in the direction of your last tug. But if you released it between the elastic limit and the point where elastic deflection begins the resulting force would send it in the opposite direction. It would continue in that manner until the opposing forces reached equilibrium.

It's a complicated scenario, lots of variables, that requires a complex computer simulation to predict. As an example, think about the desk toy that has five balls hanging from strings. If you pull balls from on end and release them, the other end acts in a similar but diminished manner until it stops.

But in zero gravity, there might be some missing variables, so it could go on forever.

Without some type of force that causes a stop or change of direction, it would continue to be propelled forward infinitely.
The accelerated force of the projectile should remain constant with no friction to slow it.
That is, Until it reaches a body of gravitational pull.
This would then draw the load in.
Whether it be Venus or Uranus.

Good point. So if you tugged and released in the elastic range they, the berries and satchel would continue in the opposite direction until the satchel reached it's ultimate strength and detached? To drift at the same velocity until they entered the gravitational field of another object? Much like the very scientific video above.

Every beer is a desert beer when you live in the desert.
    :rimshot:

But it’s not super sweet or anything, so I wouldn’t say it’s a dessert beer. It’s a good porter though.
