What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

I like how you mounted your lights in the pro grill. Any close up pics and how did you mount them? Looks good

Swapped out the sway bar end links for some beefier one that can be greased.

 

Thanks, been awhile since I did it, I think that I used 1" angle and square stock..

 

Spent the day installing my curt trutrack weight distributing hitch on the trailer and getting everything dialed in to start towing my tacoma around. 8,000 lbs and the truck only squats 1/2” front AND rear. Pulls great and no issues with trans temps thanks to the cooler.

 

Just putting the tundra to work. Hopefully we miss the nails this time….

 

Could also probably use the flush mount ones. S1 or S2's without with the tubing. They are light weight so shouldn't be an issue with the plastic and a faster install.

Finally installed my Fender Flares today!

 

Rock Auto - found the same ones several places but they were the least expensive.

 

All in all, in today's situation, ordering something sourced globally in June and getting it in October isn't all that bad. I'll report any notable difficulty.

Android Auto Wireless??? If that's what that is, you most definitely have to let us know how it works.

 

Heat shrink tubing will clean up that chrome shifter stem nicely.

For anyone who doesn't already know, AA Wireless is an indigogo project, producing the dongle pictured above, which plugs into the data port of an Android Auto Head Unit (very many, but not necessarily any), including the JBL (and I'd presume non-JBL) stock systems in our Tundras.

The unit is compatible with Android 9+, preferrably 11; and requires Bluetooth and Android Auto with wireless enabled. There's an app you'll need to download. Once that was downloaded and my truck was running, without further instructions or assistance besides the wizard in the app, the whole process of configuration took 9 brain cells and 25 seconds. I bounced ignition to test startup lag during normal operation, and it takes about 20 seconds. There are a few pop-ups on the phone as the truck is started and shut off, but they aren't annoying.

This thing plus the wireless charger in the console are a warm blanket and a cup of coffee on a cold morning.

I have Spotify (free), which started to play immediately as the phone connected after restart (expected behavior). Google Maps did not open immediately (desired behavior), but I'll see if I can't tweak settings on that, or maybe Waze, to see if I can't get those on the default home screen as they connect.

Based on the 3 minutes I've spent with it so far, it will be well worth the $85 donation price.

Finished getting everything set up on the Rago mount....And I really like the 67 designs phone mount on the left.

 

New front bumper installed after getting it painted to match! Just waiting on the light bar to come in!

Truth.

I'm just amazed at all the stuff you guys find to color match and make it look good. I've seen others that wind up looking overdone or just a big blob of color, but you guys pull it off and keep it classy.
