Just replaced the 20yo stereo tape deck with wireless CarPlay. I feel like I have traveled ahead in time!
Thanks for posting this pic and the comparison. I have changed all my external lights to LED and am planning to do the interior. REALLY like the 3000K vs the 6000K. I actually bought a set of 6000, but will either send it back or put it in my son's truck. 3000K for me. You saved me a step or two! THANKS!

I would have that 3000k or 6000k over my lame bluish-white bulbs any day... or... night.

I always felt 4000 was a nice, even tone. 3000 in the house for warm tones. 5000 in commercial buildings.

Looks like you have what you need with the Red and Black wires. Just make sure it is hot only when the ignition is ON. ....but that's EASY to check out with a multimeter.

I would think you can tap into that. But, there may only be a constant hot and an open door switched hot. An ignition hot would be ideal if it's there, the constant may give you a slow battery drain. Hopefully someone who has done similar chimes in.

They’re not that old.. they were replaced 3 years ago by the previous owner when we did the trans. I may have to dig into it before buying one

Yes, but are they Denso's or NGK/NTK's? I'm sure you know that aftermarket electronics are notoriously unreliable.

I've got 3 o2 sensors throwing heater circuit faults. Been like that since I got the truck in March and PO said it had been on as long as he had it. Seems to drive fine but I'll have to get to it someday.

I’m not the superstitious kinda guy… but man. That old ass farm property has been causing weird ass shit that I’m starting believe.

You can hear foot steps in the house at 3am. And you always feel like something watching. Nothing like negative. But like it’s letting you know it’s there.

come to find out the farm
Originally was owned by the wheeler family… so there’s some history there from the civil war.

I had the wires somehow get ripped out of one of my O2 sensors once. Didn't pull out the sensor, but the wires from the sensor. No clue how that happened.

With the price of everything going up so drastically ($40/tire in 4 weeks), I splurged and bought new tires. Went with the Patagonia X/Ts, and sticking to the 285/75/16 size.[IMG]
They’re strikingly similar to Nitto Ridge grapplers.

Thank you for this. This looks close. Prob will go for posi-taps for wiring it. For these wires, which posi-taps do people use? Seems like the blue ones or the red ones in this kit?
    Screen Shot 2021-10-19 at 11.53.49 AM.jpg

Got some grade 8 oversized washers that I am going to use on my bumper to frame mount. Ordered some paint markers so I can mark the bolts on the bumper and make sure they stay torqued.

Going to get these LEDs to install on the kickwell to finish up the LEDs in the cab.

Speaking of O2 sensors. Do you generally get any issues with rust and removing the upstream ones?

A coworker of mine just tried to replace his and tore off/stripped one of his bung holes in the process.

It was after 150K miles on the 2nd set and I think he only sprayed it once with PB Blaster.

I'm probably facing a similar scenario myself with the Tundra but I believe he was working on his 94 Avalon.
