What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

Installed the bed rail tie down system since my truck didnt come with it.

 

I like POR15 for coating metal.

I’d be worried about that clearance when articulated (one wheel drooped). Looks pretty snug in there…

 

We will be keeping an eagle eye on it that's for sure. This weekend we're gonna take it out and mount a couple GoPros down there and see how it does. I'll post the video for all to see. I have a feeling it's gonna rub...

Yesterday, installed front and rear TRD sway bars. Only have about 12 miles with them so far, but much more better…

BFG All Terrain. 285/65 r18. No rubbing so far. Stock suspension.

 

Just order new tires. 295/70/18 Toyo AT3s. Can't wait to get them on the tank. Should be arriving and installed on Friday.

Installed my TRD Rear Sway Bar tonight... cause I was bored and tired of it sitting on my garage work bench. Lol.

It was taunting me....

 

Had my inside drivers door handle stop working…had to pull the door panel off to figure it out.

Turns out that by having cut out some of the plastic to swap my exterior door handles, the latch cable was running into the space for the window, which was then rubbing on the window when it went up and down. I knew something was rubbing because I’d get a streak on the window. well, it finally popped the outer sheath of the latch cable out of the lock housing and thus the handle stopped working.

So, I got it all hooked back up, then used some cleanroom tape to patch up the plastic to keep the cable from poking into the window space. All good now…

 

Late night / early morning install of WKOR sliders just in time for T2S. Huge thanks to @Taco-Blender for helping with the install start to finish including a last second run to Home Depot for more drill bits.

 

Pls. post pics when you get these on. These Toyos will probably be the next set I put on my Tundra when my Coopers wear out.

I got 275/70 Terra Grapplers with no rubbing and your tires look meatier. looked at the sizes and the width i think makes them look bigger.
