Bushings for Rancho struts?

My '04 double cab has some Rancho Quicklift assemblies on the front that are fine except that the lower bushings are rapidly approaching being shot. I figured "ok no problem, I'll just get new bushings." Called up Rancho and they said that these are bonded and they do not sell a direct replacement... except I could try the RS992:

Well, guess what, these things are not available to order anywhere from anyone. After getting one refund from an online retailer whose site said they had them, I tried "Shock Warehouse" dot com which is apparently a terrible vendor. So they're currently sitting on my $20.

Rancho has been 99% not helpful. Just got off the phone with a guy (phone call #2 to Rancho) that said "yeah we have them. Get Napa to order them." Yeah buddy I tried, they can't get them. Incredible.

And no, I don't have the receipt for these struts from years and years ago. Rancho said "sorry"

Question to you folks now that story time is over: anyone know where to get these or ANY bushings that will help me get more miles out of these struts? I mean this isn't rocket science. Someone has to make the same bushing. I just want a few more months before I put Dobinsons all around.

Hi, did you ever figure out something that works? I can't find that part either and my Rancho Quicklift bushings on my 03 sequoia have also completely collapsed. I don't want to drop the money for brand new shocks because of a stupid $10-20 bushing. I found these Siberian bushings on eBay but they're OE style so don't know if they would fit.

Anyway, if you found a solution and would get back to me, this is the only forum/post on line I could find anything about this and I'm sure we're not the only ones with this problem!

I have used many Energy Suspension bushings over the years on various projects that weren’t even spec’d for what I was working on,they were just the right dimensions

 

I'm changing my Rancho quick lift because the bushing are shot and shock it pretty rusted. If yiu guys will like I can try and take some measurements when I get them off. Energy suspension will most likely have something.

 

absolutely. I need new bushings asap at least to get me through to next year. I’m going to bilstein 6112 but they’re backordered into next year and I desperately need to make these work for a few more months.

 

You got it, I was going to go with the 6112 but decided 5100 and ome spring is enough for what I use the truck for. I should be tackling this project in the next week or so. I will just have to figure out how to take out the old bushing off the Rancho so I can use a caliper to take measurements.

 

In the meantime, I've been searching for the Rancho RS992 as suggested but it looks like a discontinued part. The

product page on 4WP website someone asked a question about dimensions and the response was: "...the ID is .688 the OD is 1.562 inches. They are replacement bushings for Rancho shocks with Eyelets." From my rough measurement that should be about right...its probably all moot because it looks like I won't be able to get my hands on one anyway!

Nah, I got some Dobinsons and am quite pleased.

There has got to be something available. Mine were so wrecked that there wasn't much to measure. One thing that one of the "customer service" people told me is that you will probably need to re-use a metal insert (iirc) inside your current bushing.
