@Beau appreciate the info and pictures. I pulled the trigger on a pair yesterday. Should be delivered by the end of next week. Looking forward to the upgrade. I think they’re going to make being a more cost effective version to sliders and a great cosmetic upgrade.

Sparks didn't have the cheapest price I could find, but they were offering 25% off shipping if you spend over $400. I think out the door the pair was a little under $650.

Still about $600 less than custom sliders and I think the wife will prefer these over a more rugged off road option.

Just an FYI all pro sliders are around 650 with a kick out top plate and dom proof.

@Beau Those TRD Pro running boards look really good. From the pics, it looks like they are 2-3 inches shorter on each end compared to the stock boards. It looks like they are also tucked in a bit and don't stick out as far as the originals. Am I seeing that correctly? Would you mind taking length and width measurements of the Pros and the stock ones? Thanks.

I'm looking at the All Pro website now. I see sliders for Tundras, Tacomas, FJs, and old pickups. Nothing for the Sequoia, though.

It feels like they are actually wider than the stock boards. Definitely 2” or so shorter though. I’ll measure them when I can (maybe this weekend) since my wife has the truck on a camping trip and I’m not with her. We like them so much better though. They are solid and wide.

That's interesting that you think they're wider. I guess I'm seeing an optical illusion. Maybe it's because they're all black that they look narrower to me. Thanks for the info.

No one makes a bolt on option for the Sequoia. I'm familiar with All Pro and unless you're out west it'd going to cost you an additional $200 for shipping, $200+ for powder coating and $60-$80 for have someone weld them on (unless said person has the tools and skills).

You could spray prime and paint, but the it may not last and will cost you $50 in material and time. That saves you $150, but you may have to mask and repeat 6 months later.

I’m out west. Ok I didn’t know the side steps are weld on I thought the frames are the same. Yah I would pc but as soon as u drop it on a rock it’s done. I just heard slider but sounds like a side step is what you guys are looking for and a non wheeling option

Hi not sure how this message thing works but on your pioneer 4400nex, do the steering wheel buttons work with it as well and perhaps the rear DVD player? Thanks

Hi, I no longer have the pioneer unit but the buttons did work with the PAC harness. Most people use the maestro harness, which will allow you to retain the steering wheel controls as well. Honestly, I’m pretty impressed with this joying radio. It is way bigger, faster, and more usable than the pioneer radio that it replaced. Not to mention, cheaper too. As for the rear DVD, I don’t think any of the aftermarket options allow you to control it. I have the headrest DVDs and they work great but only my kids can control them from the back seat. Hope this helps. Welcome to the forum.

I used the Maestro harness and was able to retain the steering wheel controls, but I rarely use them. Our 2018 has an independent DVD/BluRay slot and remote so the kids can control everything from the rear sets on their own, which honestly is a blessing because no one wants to keep plugging in DVD's while driving. They also use the Toyota wireless headphones so we get to listen to whatever the hell we want up front.

looks great Beau! I almost pulled the trigger 2 months ago on this unit, but decided to wait. I know I’m in the minority, but my JBL system sounds fine at the moment.

There is an option for 6gb/128gb. You just need to select the 11.6 model TQ115N4G and request $40 upgrade to receive the 6gb/128gb.

Here is the measurements of the width on the stock and TRD pro boards. Still loving them, huge upgrade.

For some reason FedEx hates delivering us large packages. Pro running boards shipped and were scheduled for delivery Thursday the 7th. Arrived in NC. Still haven't left NC and now the tracking on them has changed from to "Delivery date pending". I've called FedEx twice and their non-US customer service reps really are no help. I'm sure they'll show up eventually, but it's just frustrating.

Thats unfortunate! In my area, Fedex is the best delivery method....cheapest too, for parts like this. It'll be worth the wait. One word of advice, use some sort of black trim piece to cover the pinch seam or paint it black (if your sequoia isn't already black) to make it look a little more complete. The old boards covered up the seam.

Great to know, but too late for me:). Should be a good upgrade for others though, especially for only $40!

Was out of town on Fall Break last week. Had 3-4 calls into FedEx concerning the running boards. All they could do was contact the disto center and request they contact me. That never happened. Miraculously my running boards were found 7 days later, shipped out and are being help at a local facility because I wasn't in town to sign for them. Heading to pick them up this morning and get them on the Sequoia. Will post some images later today or tomorrow.

Pics? You may not have the proper harness. Do you have the JBL stereo? If so, did you tell them that you needed the JBL harness? I’m guessing it’s the wrong harness.
