Four corner air, if it's like Ram's with actual adjustable ride height, and auto 4wd might make it worth it. Unless it's 20k more.

They could just pull it off the new Lx600

edit: If they end up doing this, it would make it a Lexus truck IMO.

If I were in the market for a full size suv, I'd definitely be looking at the new Sequoia.

Think they will produce a long wheel base to compete with Suburban and Expedition XL?

fair enough but the grill surround I was referring to was the silver found on most models. Seems highly misplaced.. i think the 1794 seems to have it in chrome though.

You sure everything is the same? Might look similar….

Pretty good article. Taught me some unique stuff about the tremor package that I didn’t know.

For those who have commented on how nice splitting the monster grill up with a color matched strip at the bottom, the color configuration that was posted earlier shows this for the Platinum.

    upload_2021-10-15_14-44-8.jpg

I don’t really mind the solid black grill, but that does look better IMHO. Who knows how accurate this is, seems to be decently accurate from what I’ve seen so far.

If they were going to offer KDSS, I would think they would include it in the TRD OffRoad or Pro packages. Maybe Auto 4wd and Mark Levinson sound.

You can really see it with the lighter colors. It didn't stand out enough in the blueprint they have on the demo Platinum.

I know i keep saying this, but I also think the pro would look better with color matched door handle and mirrors. To me it makes it look cheap like a base model. In that color conf. you posted, the base has the black trim, then the plat, limited , 1794 all have color match, then when you click on the pro, which is probably the highest priced model, its black trim just like the base model.

Wow. Talk about an ugly grill. It makes the Tundra look palatable. That's the worst I've ever seen from Lexus. I hope they do a better job on the inflated puffer fish Sequoia.

I might get my retired FIL and get started on an aftermarket grille company.

Driver's seat memory function still not on TRD Pro on spec sheet. Thought I saw it on the TRD Pro demos. BUT I do remember a demo truck where they had 2-3 different door panels on one truck. So it could have been a different one or something. That's strange a TRD pro wouldn't get memory seats in 2022.

I watched a demo video on the Limited and it did have memory driver seat, the camera was pointing at the door panel and the guy mentioned it.

I think I remember that. So who knows if that was a preproduction truck with stuff that won't actually be there, or another inaccuracy in the spec sheet.

I had a 6.4 hemi for all of about a month. Check engine light day 3 and an awful squealing noise that was “normal.” The ford 6.2 wasn’t much better. Died on me in a parking lot, AC was starting to take forever to get going, and it idled rough. It also didn’t tow our travel trailer very well either and got pushed around a lot. I now have a 2500hd custom and it’s been fantastic.

0-60 in 7.0 for regular 3.5tt crew cab 4x4 and 6.8 for the pro.

Imo, thats pathetic. The f150 tremor is under 6 seconds.

I have no interest in racing my 6K lb brick and thats plenty fast for me, but was does stick out is the fact that the hybrid really didn't do anything.

I wonder if just adding the amount of HP/LBS from the electric motor right on top of the engine is even kinda misleading. with almost "600lbs" of torque and well over 400 HP , it should be way faster than the standard motor.

so far (preliminary), this hybrid deal seems like BS all things considered (loss of storage, cost, added complexity, performances gains, etc), especially considering you dont get anything else with teh toyota version like you do with ford (generator).

Especially when Sweers said the hybrid was for performance not efficiency. Doesn't seem like it is doing much, but I have seen other reviewers that are getting significantly better times than they just posted
