Why not buy one and have it restored?

You can still find a few with around 100k miles on them... that's practically new for a Toyota :D

I would love to buy a new from factory first Gen Tundra. For me personally I found it to be the right size and had everything I really needed. Probably a little too much convenience for me but I can live.

Come on now man. We have all wondered if we are overloaded at some point. Having that visually depicted via tail lights is cool for the user and good for safety. If it's advertised in some way your outside of a vehicle's tolerances, you'd be less likely to put yourself in that situation.

Also esier for Cops to identify unsafe loads.

Some people like vehicles loaded with tech, some don’t. I personally prefer a middle ground. Something like a Tesla is a no go, way too much tech and no actual keyfob (using a phone as a key for me is an absolute no go, the tech geek in me worries about what a security nightmare that would be)

Yeah, some manufacturers are loading vehicles up with tech, and some are playing it safe. They do it because it is what sells. Manufacturers conduct focus groups and surveys, and their results dictate what changing consumer tastes are. They aren’t gonna make a ‘stripped down’ version of a vehicle just to cater to the small .0000000001% of customers that want it, that means either making a separate line for those sorts of vehicles or retooling robots or messing up their supply chain. It makes cheaper sense to make basic vehicles with all the tech, all in the name of efficiency. And if their competitor is loading their vehicles with tech, then they’re gonna do it too, because its what sells.

I think a scale displaued inside like you have with tire pressures is a good idea. Props to Ford for going down this road.

Honestly, I'm ok with that. I'm sure every parent with a dead child due to an alcohol related incident would be also.

I hate speed cameras because I want to speed. Not because they want to infringe upon my rights.

It is apparent that everything in this life is now forever entwined with tech. You can't escape it.

If you can't stand it in new trucks you have no choice but to get an older vehicle and maintain it for the rest of your life.

I would just find one that’s compatible with the safety sensors. That way you can have the best of both.

Rav4 could be different than the Tundra. For one thing, I don't think the Tundra has a radar button or a cruise radar button, whatever those are. Hold the button on the bottom right of the steering wheel that turns cruise on and off.

This is a Tundra forum, after all.

I installed an aftermarket cruise radar button. It doesn't do anything but it looks awesome.

Any idea how the 2022 should respond if i put a brush guard in front of the radar laser? Am i going to have to turn off radar cruise every time i get in to keep the dashboard from lighting up like a christmas tree:santa2:

I'm starting a new truck company. I'm going to build a regular cab, long box, 2 wheel drive Tundra with rubber coated floors, vinyl seats, hand crank windows and a manual transmission. No a/c, no heater, no radio because that's sissy stuff and real men don't need that in a real truck. Oh, the box will be 10feet long because the longer the box, the longer your dick or so I'm told. The truck will ride like a 50's willy's jeep since we won't bother with cushy suspension because only wimps need that. Real men like the hard ride of a truck right?

I need investors. We'll make a killing. We'll sell all 10 of them!!

It's not about a setting you turn off. Short push on the cruise on/off button turns on radar cruise. Long hold on the cruise on/off button turns on regular cruise.
