A buddy of mine who makes OEM factory replacement parts for Toyota referred me to this company today called "OEM Audio Plus". They make complete stereo replacements for several manufacturers that are all plug and play with no cutting to the stock wiring. They offer several kits that replace the stock amplifier, tweeters, front and rear speakers and all the wire harnesses to plug and play. My buddy said the he listened to their stereo kit at a convention show and it was very impressive! The video link attached is a full video of the install. It's very detailed and seems easy to do. Has anyone heard or installed this system?

It looks pretty nice but $1,600 nice? I don't think so. You could find much better for cheaper. But of course that would also be more work than just a simple plug and play system like the one above. I've seen them advertise but have never heard anyone who has one installed.

They show two different options online one for $1200 and one for $1600. For a complete speaker, amp & wiring for a specific vehicle that's not a bad price.

For a plug and play system that price doesn't sound bad at all.

I just read a bunch of reviews mostly positive a couple of oks and one that the guy is just not happy. They do seem to have good customer support. I am glad to see they have a set up for the double cabs. I will most likely put this on the to do list. Thanks for the link @1UPPER

I had their system in my 2016 Taco for a year before trading it in. It was "pretty good" and a definite upgrade over stock but it wasn't out of this world. I almost pulled the trigger for the Tindra but am going to put the system together myself this time around.

FWIW, Before I traded in my Taco, I removed the sub, wire harness and amp and sold it easily to another Taco owner.
