They just showing the numbers at lower rpm. I doubt they would tune down trim levels

I know I've seen it in several videos but I'm not sure if I've seen it in the Pro. I'll have to re-watch a few of the TRD pro videos.

The product information guide states the 1794 and Platinum get the digital display rearview mirror, also optional on Limited. TRD Pro apparently only gets a "thin bezel auto dimming rearview mirror" with no option for the digital display. Hope it's a misprint.

I don't know if it is just the GM version of it, but I hate the digital rearview mirror in my AT4. I may be able to get used to it, but it is just weird. You can't just glance at it like a normal mirror, you have to actually focus on it and let your eyes adjust. It may just be my eyes, but after my wife drove my truck she agrees with me about the digital mirror.

It looks like the one in the Tundra works as both. It is a normal mirror, but then when you flip it up, it becomes video. So it would work well when I have my trifold cover folded up or something big in the bed. Is the Chevy one full time video or does it do both?

I agree. I’m sure I’ve seen videos of guys using the digital mirror in a TRD pro. The spec sheet that has been circulating around has lots of error in it.

here’s a video where a guy mentions the digital mirror while sitting in the TRD pro.

When I test drove a GMC last year, I thought it was a neat feature. I did have perhaps a similar issue with it: Since it's inside my "need reading glasses" zone, I had a little trouble achieving a perfect focus on the image I was seeing which is not an issue with an actual mirror. I think they should design some focus-ability into it, if that's even possible.

The one in my wife’s RAV4 is the same. When I flip over to it it takes a second for my eyes to focus on the image.

Apparently the red seats are softex, not leather.

Is any of it real leather? Or is it all softex?

Most probably all softex, the red seats seem to be TRD PRO exclusive, since TRD PRO is based on the Limited, therefore, you get softex.

I think my wife's lexus has the softex. It's nice stuff very comfortable, but I do wonder how it will hold up under truck use.

That's how the GM one is too, I leave it on normal mirror all the time.

Rumour has it, they had go with softex for the TRD pro. The fabric people ran out of red camo in the 90s when it was cool.

Sidebar but how has the 3.0 been for you? Haven’t read much negative about it other than cost and speculation about GM reliability gremlins.

Did this guy say massaging seats?? That’s the first I’ve heard of that feature for any of the trims. I think either he’s mistaken or I miss heard him.

Maybe they just put a bunch of options in the preproduction trucks and haven’t decided what they’re going to keep on the production models yet ?
