I think you made a great choice with the Trail Edition. Good looking truck and Tundras hold their value.

Actually the trail does have a transmission cooler. You attach a hose and drip emitters to the bedside icebox, route the hose so it drips on the tranny and keep the ice full. :D

We are going to have to figure out how to keep the jealous pro owners from stealing our bed boxes now.

That didn’t last long. I just purchased a 21 tundra pro lunar rock. I didn’t like some of the features missing on the trail edition and for not a lot more I got a much better equipped vehicle. Now that I own the pro I’m a bit shocked at all the stuff that comes on it. The wheels/shocks/exhaust/other trd parts add alot of value to this truck. It’s only 7k more than a sr5. Never really thought about it till now. What’s funny is a dealer I was speaking with told me I could probably make money selling it due to how much they are going for. It’s a crazy market.

awesome for you! dealerships in my area are smart enough to mark up the trd pro because of that same reason, you can buy it, trade it in, and make money. Your dealer definitely hooked you up.
If my dealer didnt put a 13k markup on the lunar rock TRD Pro... wouldve gotten the Pro...only down side is, the Pro that was on display did not have the parking sensors and BSM.

Yea I guess some people are really getting some crazy numbers on these trucks. I just did a quick search for used ones and they are asking around 62-68k used. I guess if someone has the money to spend good for them. Work hard play hard. I actually don’t care for the sensors and all the safety crap. Don’t really use it. More things to go wrong.
