There seem to be some errors in the PDF, at least myself and a few others are hoping so.

toyota does this alot, 1st year of a new gen they de-content features that the previous outgoing end cycle gen had or right after a refresh.

i had first had experience with this in my 2014 4runner compared to the 2013 and the later MY's that added that content back in.

edit: heck they are doing this with the 2022 rav4. they are removing features that certain trims had and moving them to a higher trim or adding features to higher trims that didnt have them before.

also did any reviewer go over the how long the connected gps works before you have to pay for a sub? i know the platinum and higher they didnt mention if you ever had to pay compared to the lower trims of $16 month?

thats was from alex auto review i think he mentioned it.

i did see in the pdf you get 3yrs service connect trial on jbl plat, 1794, trd pro but the limited get a line saying available, which i am guessing is the $16 month plan?

I did some photoshopping today . . . to fix some things up since I heard you guys didn't like the large grille that makes the truck's front end look super tall (kinda like a GMC) In my opinion, I really like the design, but at the same time, I really like this new one too. Tell me what you think!

I haven't heard of anything as far as having to pay for GPS. I normally just do google maps and download an offline map for any areas that I will be traveling. Worked great when I was driving around Scotland a couple of years ago.

yeah but 3yr connect service, is that for the connected gps ? it doesnt say. if you watch alex on auto's he talks about the toyota gps only working while its connected, afterwards you have to pay.

i mean granted i would use it until the free plan went away since the integration into the 12in screen and hud is probably where that is going. if you use AA/Carplay will it transfer that info over to the 12in screen or hud?

By the platinum offering the TRD package, they probably mean the 1794 which in Toyota speak is considered a Platinum trim with a western look.

I’m just pissed that the platinum doesn’t have a locking rear diff. I’m not taking it off-road by we get some wicked snow and ice here where that would help.

Would love to know pricing between TRD Pro and ZR2. I’m not ready to move up to Raptor pricing.

love my 2021 TRD Pro. But 2022 fixes everything I miss about it. The new ZR2 seemed quite badass with new interior as well.

That is also what I was hoping to see....and expected to see, with all the talk about matching or blowing away the competition.

Toyota never said anything about blowing away the competition. That was all hype from journalists and fanboys

I actually like @Tundra'25 changes better. It's a smaller white bar and is down lower so it doesn't cover up the radar

It says right underneath (Crewmax models only). So if you are getting a double cab SR5, then no, you don’t get the power vertical window, if you get the Crewmax SR5, you get it.

They could’ve done a better job on their spec sheets to make it more clear for sure. Luckily they have lots of videos out there at the Official Toyota reveal that show the Crewmax SR5 gets the same window as always (and TRD off road/sport is available on SR5 as well)

It wouldn't be the first difference spotted between a pre-production model and the spec sheet

You’re right. I keep having to remind myself that “everything we see is pre-production and subject to change”. Unfortunately, I was hoping that any changes that would happen would be beneficial to the consumer which from what it looks like, is not always the case. #bringinareardifffortheplatinum

I have a feeling that the bottom trim on the grill will be painted when they roll out. These are preproduction trucks and toyota knows that the main complaint is the large black grill, which isnt really that big, it just appears that way because the bottom isnt painted to break it up. Kinda looks like the bumper and grill are one in the same.

And Ford is also known to remove the spare tire, console, and radio to get those numbers. They also live on the edge of safety with their numbers which Toyota doesnt.

I like the tundra but wish there was a trim package that I loved

SR5 - to me the best looking option but not all the other tech/features the upper trims have. Love the color match options.

Limited model I'm learning towards but wish it had less chrome and more color match, HUD display and ventilated seats in the rear

Platinum- doesn't have the TRD off road package available so it loses the rear locker. Again wish more color match and less chrome. Not a fan of the grill on this but if it had the TRD package

1794 all my boxes are checked but not a fan of the brown and beige interior colors. If black and the wood is am option I'd be very interested.

PRO- top trim and will have the top price but to me it loses some features some of the other trim packages have available.

No, its marker as “-“ . Check the third column which is for Limited. Since you can get a limited in DC or CrewMax it mentions “crewmax only”. But why is it not an option for SR and SR5 at all?!
