2.5 gen vs. 3rd gen Towing Comparison

This test won't mean much until they do the mpg loop.

 

Agreed, but a good initial test.

0-60: 1 sec faster 0-60 for the non hybrid vs. V8.

Rears are 3.31 (3rd gen) vs. Current 4.3
MPG non towing is 20mpg (3rd gen) vs. Current

 

Yeah, the numbers need to show a wider gap for me to drop what works for an eco-compliant truck...they just don't exist...thanks for posting the information tho!

 

If the rear diffs are the same that'll be insane, swap a factory 4.3 over and get an instant 30% torque increase.

 

It would rip and get the same fuel mileage! Yeeeeehaw!

 

Did they tow two different trailers? It's not even the same test, aerodynamics and weight distribution are different, yada yada yada
