Something tells me you just like to sound right versus using logic. EPA ratings have never been accurate. Welcome to reality. Take care pumpkin

Most inaccuracies that happen compared to EPA ratings are based on your own personal driving style that will never be able to be accounted for. The logic is simple. It went from 13/17/14 to 17/22/?, and yet you're still bitching that it isn't enough to please you.

The range to empty in that pic is Kilometers, in miles its like 392 miles to empty. Not sure how big the tank is, but around 16-18 mpg?

exactly. For example my 3.0 Duramax is rated 22 city 26 highway. I average 31-35 MPG highway.

Curious here... Why did you swap from that GMC to your 2015 Tundra? Or do you still have it?

lol i would be happy at 15 around town, we avg 10.8-11.8 around town and 14.6-15.6 highway in ND (we always have wind issues everyday, hence lower numbers)

I prefer stiffer ride of 3/4 tons also. I had increased the spring rate on my tundra to the point where it rode stiffer than my 2500 does.

which i am guessing is the v8 doing cylinder deactivation down to a 4 cylinder?

maybe compare apples to apples, since the tundra cant power down to a 4 cylinder.

2015 GMC Sierra has EPA Ratings of 16/22/18. It's pretty much the same so no, your "7 year old gmc" doesn't really beat those numbers. And again, if all you care about is numbers and being the first to the market, Toyotas aren't for you bud.

Says the CM has more interior space but I assume that's in comparison to the DC, not to the 2021 CM.

Redline reviews is getting 23.4 ish mpg in the hybrid 1794 in his video. Not bad considering he's flooring it and doing some spirited driving.

I'll take that over the 15-16 in my 4runner.

Are you incapable of understanding how EPA ratings work or are your last 3 brain cells struggling that much?

So an additional 5mpg (avg) vs the current gen would save you about $535/year

Assuming 12k mi/year, and $3.40/gallon at current prices.

Toyota claim of setting the bar, but nothing in the new tundra is outstanding…it’s more of a copy and paste truck

the demand is only high because of what ever happened with imports during covid. It’s not because they are selling like hot cakes. My local dealership has been empty this whole year except for about 50 total vehicles. 2021 Toyota has sold much less than 2020 from my understanding

28 mpg in a truck and it's going to look like an air foil.

If i could get 24 mpg highway on my old 2015 gmc crew 4x4, I didn’t see it being far fetched (I dunno)

The worst part of all is when Toyota hyped us so much on this new tundra it is kinda let down with those numbers. if they just show the truck early on without all the hyped, I think it will have a better outcome.

Toyota came out with the hybrid system in 1997. I don't think they've innovated since then, or before that, but I could be wrong.

I saw that one too, Toyota should of had the exact same trailers for that too be a valid test. Marketing bs is all that is.
