Despite telling myself that I was not going to pay $3 more for Adams than I could get CG or others.....I've placed my order.

Some updates with the Owner's Pride products for those interested. @briarpatch

OP Tire Shine: really enjoyed using this. Not sure on longevity yet but I've used it a couple times. Water based so relatively no sling. The cool part is how long you leave it on dictates the amount of shine the tires retain. Wipe on, wipe off and you'll get a dark satin finish. Leave on for 5 minutes and wipe residual away and you'll have a glossy tire. That's the only downside though is they do recommend buffing off. So can't apply it like you could a gel and let it go and not worry about sling.

OP Glass: a window cleaner is almost always a window cleaner. Little to no streaking and buffs well. I wouldn't recommend picking this up since you'd have to order online. Stoner's from an auto parts store is way easier to get ahold of. I probably won't purchase more of this as I use 3D's glass cleaner because it is concentrated and I can make gallons of it for exponentially cheaper than any single purchased item. I learned long ago the key to clean windows even with a shitty glass cleaner is at minimum one applicator microfiber and one glass cleaning microfiber. I can clean windows with simple water and Dawn dish soap as long as I have quality towels.

OP Ceramic Detailer: solid product. Gave it to my neighbor when he was washing his car and he loved it. Super easy to apply and states a 1 year durability. Highly doubt a spray on will last anywhere near 1 year, but it creates a super slick surface and adds quite a bit of depth. We had a monsoon come through the other day and we live on an island so everything flooded. He drove his truck through some high muddy water and you could never tell. Looked like it was just washed the next day. Topped my truck I just coated with it as a little booster. Will be picking up a gallon of this.

OP Super Wash: I'm awful at dilution ratios...complete shit. I used this and I'm positive I didn't use enough for my 5 gallon bucket. However, even super diluted it created great lubricity when washing (smells good too). Again, probably not for everyone and there are much cheaper and just as effective options out there. I'll probably stick with my Meguiar's Shampoo/Conditioner as I get it at a severely discounted rate.

OP 7 Year Ceramic Coating: I'm dumbfounded. The coating was superb to apply. It has a different approach to the solvents evaporating. Instead of streaking/rainbowing taking place, their product "sweats." Because of this, you lay it on super thick and the coating will absorb into the clear coat. What's left is the delivery agent essentially "dripping" off of the paint and that's how you know it is ready. Flash time was about 2 minutes, but their product is very forgiving. I tested a panel and left it on for 10 minutes (70 degrees, 60% humidity outside). That's an ungodly amount of time for the humidity conditions but I was prepared to polish it off if need be. It was a bit difficult to buff to a shine (understandably, this was a test) but it worked perfectly. I've spoken to a few detailers in the OP network and they can coat an entire full size truck in about 30 minutes by splitting the vehicle in half (coating half the vehicle, buffing, repeat). The coating is also good for trim, wheels, etc. OP stated there's no real test for durability they've done for the outlying features of a vehicle because it's specifically formulated for paint, but they've seen 7 months on trim and wheels from past use. For how easy it is to apply, it doesn't hurt to just saturate the whole vehicle in it and buff it off. I even used it on my tonneau cover since applying Aerospace every other month is a pain in my ass. If I can get 6 months out of it on that, I'll be happy. Really need to just Cerakote the damn thing.
Here's a photo of what I'm talking about (sweating).

Thanks for the update. Did you have to go through any training by Owners Pride to obtain the Ceramic Coating?

No real training. Just a phone call with a rep to explain their product and the process. It took a few days of them reviewing my business (Website Facebook Instagram and critiquing my work) before I was "accepted" however. It really is a forgiving application process.

Yeah they were pricey, but I wanted a long throw for a while and was getting tired of the weight of the Dewalt. Figured with the uptick in corrections and coatings, the cost would be worth it for a more enjoyable experience. Moving the G9 to the back of the cabinet as our backup and the rotary as a last resort for heavy cuts. The forced rotation of the XCE should be a nice blend of DA oscillation and rotary-esque cutting power.

Edit: the powertool company I was testing the Flex PXE for never asked for it back....so I still have that lol. And the G8 has its uses for 2 and 3" pads. I think I'm set for a while.

So this stuff has been making waves. Had a conversation with the company's owner the other day and want to give it a shot since I'm still very new with Owner's Pride coatings and are unsure of their durability.

That stuff is getting a lot of press....I know Chelsea (attention 2 details) on Youtube used one of their coating and liked it. I still have yet to delve into legit coatings myself....but this is one I might try

Yup. Very little marketing on their end. They've just released it, let folks try it themselves, and let the competitors talk smack about it. The competition is what's what's driving their sales lol. Backfired for them.

Remember that Adams Foam Soap that was on Amazon lightning deal? Well, it got lost in shipping so Amazon refunded it. Then a damaged bottle showed up a few days later. Amazon didn't want it back, so I'm getting to try it for free :).

    Pic just cause.

    upload_2021-10-13_12-7-0.jpg

Seems like handing a toddler a foam cannon always results in less than stellar coverage, but you can see the back where it looks nice and thick.

Overall, I'm pleased with it. The foam was thicker, it seemed to lift the dirt better and wiped away easier than the Megs Gold Class that I've used previously.

How much did you put in the foam cannon? What pressure washer are you using?

One stepped the wife's Camry and prepped for Undrdog Pro. Process was very easy compared to IGL and Cquartz. Owner's Pride is significantly easier I don't think anything will ever beat that (but the durability/functionality of the coating has yet to be tested). Undrdog lists 7-10 minutes until buffing. Temps and humidity pushed me to about 12 minutes before it got tacky. No real rainbow or flash so you have to actually do a solid test panel to get your times. After a quarter panel, I was able to do split the car into 3 sections. All glass a 4th section and all wheels a 5th section. Total time was about an hour and a half. I can see this being cur down significantly once I get accustom to the process for this particular coating. Have about half of the 30ml bottle left (use Autofiber Saver Applicators theyre phenomenal). Car looks phenomenal.

Coming up on the one month wash for the truck and Mini Cooper (Owner's Pride installed on those). Then in about a month I'll wash this. After their first wash, the Mini and this car won't be washed but every couple of months. I want to test real a real world application of the products.

Tomorrow I'll be hand polishing the plastics on my CBR1000RR and Undrdog Pro coating the plastics, wheels, and calipers (minus the tank indentations, can't go flying off because of a slick coating). Also have a new Shoei helmet being shipped so that'll be coated too lol.

Photo is unedited and car still needs tire shine but I've got a birthday dinner to get ready for.

I didn't measure. I just put in enough that looked right.

I'm using a 2.4 GPM TroyBilt gas powered pressure washer. Isn't the baddest on the market, but pretty good for the price I paid.

Applied this to the Tundra on Sunday, and I’m impressed so far. It applies the same way as Carpro Hydro2.
The McKee’s product left behind a decent amount of gloss, which is the big shortcoming with Hydro2. It also felt like it was much more forgiving and less prone to streaking than Hydro2.
I applied it mid afternoon in direct sunlight, though the temperature was probably in the low 80’s. I wouldn’t have attempted it if it were hot outside.
Beading / sheeting was really good when I applied it.

It’s 25 bucks for a 22 ounce bottle, ready to use. Since you don’t dilute it like you do Hydro2, it is a bit more expensive long term. Still a decent price. I used about a quarter of the bottle on the Tundra.

I’ll update once I get a decent idea of durability.

My son does detailing on the side and took me up to a local shop “Detailing World”
He spent about $230 for supplies for his business and I wasn’t planning to get anything. Well…. After looking around for while I decided to try some HydroSilex products. I bought 16oz rewind, 16oz recharge, 16oz wheel cleaner, 32oz recharge interior, 32oz glass cleaner, 32oz silica soap, 32oz slick tire shine, 1 gallon of Americana Mystic, 4 window towels, and a tire applicator for $239.00

Went home and decided to try them out. Sprayed the wheel cleaner on, Got the power washer and foam canon out and gave her a bath and dry. Then went on to use the rewind to strip any old products. Sprayed all surfaces including windows and tonneau cover with the recharge and wiped and then buffed… did this twice. Finished with the tire shine and interior recharge. I barely used any of the products with the exception of the Recharge and rewind. I ended up using about 8oz off the recharge and maybe 4oz of the rewind. I applied the recharge via the dry method and probably should have waited for the 1st coat to fully cure before adding a 2nd coat. Opinions please.
So far I’m happy with the results. The Hydrosilex Recharge leaves a nice shine and slick surface. My truck is only a couple months old, and has never looked or felt this good. I’ll post pictures tomorrow when the sun is out. Any tips for a newbie would be appreciated.
    Thanks.
