    Nope.

JL Clean Sweep and the RF version use predictive processing to negate/offset equalization effects that are common on most OEM stereos.
The stereo making engine noises is variable and unpredictable, and basically the same as music sounds, so those units can not offset the engine sound.

The HU will likely have a engine sound disable, at least I really hope so! Or at least through TechStream?!?

This is one area that Nissan does better than most manufacturers, the HU in most Nissan/Infiniti with remote amps sends clean signals to the amps, the EQ is inside the amp. I can hook up aftermarket speakers and amps to most Nissan/Infiniti products without any post-processing re-processing.

Rest assured, that turn signal will continue to be ignored in every major city in the country.

I can get my Titan (every bit a gas guzzler as the Gen 2 Tundra) to show 26 MPG for a few miles. Just need to trick the truck a bit. I always see people doing that when they say their truck is getting "OK" mileage, look around their cluster and you'll see they recently reset it and didn't drive far.

However, I would say that the what you are seeing on these newer Tundras in these videos is accurate. These trucks are being flogged, then idled in warm temps (every reviewer comments on how hot TX is for this time of year) and they are still showing better MPGs than what our V8 trucks typically get. I also noticed that the cluster display is the same as our new Toyota Corolla, and that thing is accurate to about 0.3 MPG, it doesn't seem to "play games" like I can get older displays to do. It's pretty accurate.

No the orange radiator is a cooler for the hybrid system which is why it's orange.

"It might". You can't say one way or another as you have zero evidence besides your feelings. In fact, Toyota increased the towing capacity.

OK so that video answered my own question... Toyota did move their Catalytic Converter closer to the header so it makes it harder to steal. Good job Toyota!

The laws of physics don’t change. A 12klb trailer will move a 5klb truck more than a 6klb truck. Just because they increased the tow rating doesn’t mean they made a better towing platform. I assume the new tundra will handle 12klbs just fine in normal road conditions, but it would do it better if I weighed more.

    A bunch
The longer wheelbase of the 6.5' CM (over the CM and DC 6.5') will help with towing to help counteract the loss of weight. And IIRC they're moving up to 285 tires from 275 so more contact patch will again help counteract the lower weight. These little things along with how the weight transfers through the frame to the tires could allow the new Tundra at 11k lbs to be as confidence inspiring as the current Tundra at 9k lbs

Turn signals? Drivers have to stop texting and actually push the lever to make them work first. :D

    Wrong.
The pre-cat is close to the header, but there's still 2 post-cats right there, full of precious metals. Almost every vehicle out there with pre-cats and post-cats only get their post-cats stolen.
Toyota didn't do squat about it. Not that they should. Maybe people should stop being scumbags?

Do we know how much they increased the wheelbase? I tried to find the spec and couldn’t, it will definitely help. 275 vs 285 contact patch change isn’t a big enough change to make a significant difference. Maybe if they went up a load range but I doubt they did that.

I thought I read that the CM short bed wheelbase is 2-3 inches longer than the current gen. The CM standard wheelbase should be about a foot longer than that.

Too many things can go wrong while driving and no way auto mfrs. can plan for every eventuality. It will take a long time for me to ever trust this technology.
But I learned somewhere on this thread that I’m a crusty old man, so I’m good with it!

The TRD Pro will only have the hybrid engine which won’t be available at launch.
