Such a shame. That vid of the LR Pro pulling in to HQ Plano looks real good.

LR is going to be on the TRD Pro, I saw one with my own eyes doing testing near me for Canadian market, they parked next to mine and it's the same shade.

I did not take photo as they kindly asked me not to take any.

That would be a 18K price increase from 2021. Id expect 60-62.

I'm holding out hope you're right... just seems too strange they'd circulate photos with the media of the TRD Pro in LR, actually produce a few, and then not make it available. LR is back for 2022 on the Sequoia TRD Pro which also seems to argue for it being available on the Tundra if they're being consistent.

Looks like it might be white to me…maybe there’s a filter on the photo? Or maybe it’s just reflecting all the greenery in the paint. I don’t know. Doesn’t look like LR to me

I'm surprised, and a bit bummed that they don't have a bright blue option this time.
I've seen a few Tundras and RAV4s in a bright blue.
My wife has a 2020 Corolla HB in Flame Blue, I was expecting something similar for Gen3 Tundra

Yep, you're right - clarified with the person who took the photo. I got hopeful because the original poster was the same person who shared the video of the LR TRD Pro driving into Toyota headquarters.

The white has looked really good on the TRD PRO's since the first release. It has such a modern look and it is the first white truck I have ever considered getting.

You can't really compare color habits between models, because Toyota isn't the same with different models. Look at the Pro colors on 4Runners. They don't ever show up on lower trims in later years, but on the Tundra they do.

Also, if they are being consistent with their Tundra color habits, then Lunar Rock will not be a Pro color. None of the exclusive Pro colors have been transitioned from year to year. They drop off the Pros and into the lower models. So, being consistent, there will likely be White, Black, MGM, and the new Orange for Pro color options.

Any word on the sound system yet? Hopefully they ditched JBL or put a much better JBL in these things.

They still have JBL. It's in several of the interior photos. As to the quality of it, who knows.

Yeah didn't see it either. May not be on there yet as it's delayed. Also know the army green color is an option but didn't see it either on that page. May not be worth much but maybe they'll keep updating as the information comes out

I asked Tim about the JBL (with the rear seat sub) and he said it sounded way better than the previous Tundra JBL. His response made it seem like he was aware that the JBL used to suck.

Is comments on the stereo system embargoed also?I'd like to know what you think of it, and if that subwoofer behind the seat actually performs well. Gotta listen to my gangsta rap

So much better it is incredible than the prior generation."

BTW, just an inside bit of info to those branded audio systems like "JBL" and "Fender". I used to work in the car stereo upgrade biz, and I still tinker occasionally on newer cars...Most all of these branded systems from Asian cars are actually using the typical matsushita, denso, etc amplifiers and Panasonic speakers they used prior to branding.
Heck, even VW, which had "Monsoon" branding then "Fender" (which I had in my 2016 GTI) uses Panasonic speakers. VW changed their branding from Mk6 GTI (Monsoon) to Mk7 GTI (Fender) but the speakers stayed the same Panasonic speakers for about a decade.

The ONLY brand I have seen, that has actual branded components, is BOSE (I don't play with anything higher-end, so no idea about Harmon Kardon or Mark Levinson stuff) if you take Bose speakers and amps from most cars, they will have Bose logos on their labels.

Point being, to see a brand on a stereo system may mean nothing. I HIGHLY DOUBT that they even add special equalization these days. I think most just represent more speakers and power, and would sound the same without the branding.

The stereo (unbranded) in my wife's 2020 Corolla HB sounds pretty much the same as any new car that has a "good" sounding system in it, branded or not. But, the Bose in my Q60 sounds like most Bose I have heard in other cars (doesn't mean it's "good", just has a consistent sound across brands)

wont argue with any of that but my Rockford Fosgate and Fender systems in my two last Titans sounded way better. As did the BOSE in my wife’s last QX80s. My point is i don’t need an aftermarket system as long as the factory “upgrade” is decent. The JBL in my 21 LR TRD Pro is not.

Nissan used to have the better sounding systems. I also have a Titan (no stock system anymore) and Q60 w/BOSE.

My wife's current 2020 Corolla HB sounds darn good for being a cheap car. We did get some upgrade package, I don't remember if it has any more speakers or not, but it is unbranded and is totally passable. The BOSE in my Q60 is not much better than what comes in a new Corolla Hatchback! (I mention hatchback because Toyota includes higher spec stuff not available on the sedans).

I just want the stock system in the new Tundra to be good enough that I don't futz with it.

I ripped out my entire system in the Titan because it wasn't enough for me.

I added subs to my Q60 because the BOSE sounded good, just needed to hit harder for me.

I had a 2016 GTI with "Fender" and it was so good I left it completely alone. I am hoping the Tundra JBL is at least as good to be left alone.

How can you tell that it's not a TRD sport? That's what I thought it was, but I'm not following the new truck super hard either.

Because it's not a TRD grill and the fenders are not color match like the TRD sport... The fenders are matte black.

Ah, I see now. I just thought the grille was masked, because the emblem is blacked out. I didn't even notice the fenders though. Good eye!

@YotaEngineer already said that it's a test mule and mismatched as a result. It's not going to be represent any trim accurately.
