I'm taking to San Antonio for an overnighter at the Menger Hotel and a Ghost Tour tomorrow night. Just been double-checking the itinerary and researching. I think the Menger Hotel used to be a whorehouse so if I run into any ghost whores, I'll tell them about you all. Maybe they travel.

A lot of our gas stations have those. Do you have the drive-thru liquor stores up there?

 

Won't work, oldest is about 8. Lots of littles on my block. And they don't stop to trick or treat here either. I just end up giving all the candy to my niece and nephew. I tell them to make me their last stop so they can rob me blind. Otherwise I eat it and I don't need it.

 

We need a drive through liquor store. @TaquitoBandito new game plan, drive through liquor store instead of convenience store.

 

I was just telling my wife we need to get to Costco and get our candy. We get 6 of those big bags and get a ton of kids. I'm hearing there may be a shortage and I don't want the little bastards burning our house down because we had to give out dried fruit and pennies.

 

Only a few places have walk in coolers. No drive through liquor store. You'd be the first!

My brother in law is notoriously cheap. Needless to say, he wasn't impressed to find out that the street he moved to can expect to see 1000 kids on Halloween.

I'd make people text their orders in, tell them to keep their windows down and then toss their shit at them as they drove through. I don't like dealing with people either.

 

Sounds good to me. Hell I'll be your first employee. I used to toss beer for a living working for the local beer distributor. Drove a Coors light van with taps on the side and kegs in the back. Pretty sweet gig for a young 20's guy.

 

Cause we've all been there. Someone would have shot us at one point in our lives. It's the habitual morons that should be fair game.

 

When I was 19, I had some buddies that worked nights in the warehouse at the local Budweiser Distributor. One time I drove out there and we loaded up the back of my dad's little Toyota pickup (1988?) with dented beer. It was overflowing - so cool.

We try to do ghost or underground tours anytime we go to a new town. Victoria BC has a pretty good one. Here in Portland, the Chinatown/Underground tour is interesting - learn about the underground opium dens and shandhai tunnels from back in the early days of Portland history

 

What was really cool is that after the party, we collected the cans and turned them in for the Michigan 10 cent per can refund. So got drunk and we made money.
