    Hello fellow Tundra Owners,

I recently purchased an air pressurized portable off road shower that holds about 10 gallon of water, and was wondering if anyone here installed it inside the camper shell rather than installing on the roof? I want to install it inside if possible to prevent theft and for convenience (I won’t have to climb onto a tire to refill the tank). If there are any other ways to keep it secured, I am all ears.

    Greatly appreciated for any advice.

That's a lot of weight. You'd probably want to reinforce the shell first.

You’d just need a mount and have to open the rear door or side windows if you have them to use it, unless you want to drill through the camper. Should be the same as mounting it on the outside.

Mounting it outside has benefits…. the sun warms up the water inside the tank to make showers nicer.

@worktruckwhite makes sense. I wonder how that process works. YouTube seems to give little insight.
@mountainpete I live in Arizona where it gets 110F+ . I actually don’t want the sun to heat up the water. I want it to stay cooler.
