    Too many, but not enough....
I agree with this. This is also the reason i HATE when my wife moves my mirror for her 2 mile drive to the store sometimes. It takes like 15 minutes of freeway driving for me to correct it. You want to have a part of the car next to you appear in the side mirror before they disappear in the rearview, then appear in your peripheral vision while they are still visible in your side mirror. amazing how they dont teach this in driving school (at least when i went), i had to figure this out on my own.....

I wanted a faster vehicle so I also bought a Chevy SS... because 4 door sedans with big V8’s are hilarious.
Well I have two things to point out:

1.) Be thankful your better half adjusts the mirrors for her use when she drives the vehicle. That puts her in the better class of drivers who actually bother to use any of their rear view mirrors. I’ll bet she also uses turn signals!

2.) Since she wants to have mirrors that work for her, and you want mirrors that also work for you; and neither of you probably like your settings lost it’s time for you to buy a truck with the good option package or trim that includes memory driver settings. Push a button and enjoy your seat, and mirrors being put back where you want them. Some even base it on the key being used, no need to even push a button after your key is programmed.

This isnt wrong, but i dont hate it enough to buy a more expensive trim package for 1 feature when it comes with 10 other features that i dont want. I.E. Lasers....

I didn’t want all that stuff on my newest car either, but the SS only had two options, a sunroof and a full size spare. Everything else including all the sensors was included.

Now I use almost all of it, and don’t want to go back to not having it.

I learned how to drive on a small landscape dump truck therefore I never looked over my shoulder. I agree if the mirrors are adjusted properly there is no need to look over your shoulder…

Yes, love the memory settings in my Platinum. Memorized the seat and Mirror settings. One button click and everything is back to normal.

It took me a couple years to convince my parents to get a flat screen. "Our old one works, why would we get a new one?"

I learned this in Driver's Ed but my wife apparently didn't even though I'm pretty sure we took similar programs.

I see what your saying to an extent…. Once at higher speeds or with less of a load where your not shifting as much, you sure can…

My friends are going to sell their 37" CRT TV with their house because there's no way they're carrying it out of their basement.

They just have to market it for the hipster crowd. Words like "rare, original, vintage, classic, and retro" will let them actually charge a premium for it.

Assuming you mean the house since I don't know any hipsters who could lift that TV.

Yeah, the TV will be the ultimate hipster feature in that house. Only thing that'd make it more hipster would be the orange or green shag carpet from way back when.

I used to smoke, text, and drink coffee while driving standard during my wayward youth. It only requires coordination and a lack of a fully developed frontal lobe;)

Disclaimer: I am in no way condoning this, it was monumentally stupid and I am fortunate to have not harmed myself or someone else.

The lady of the house worked as an interior designer so I'm sure all the shag is long gone, unfortunately.
