My truck has a misfire on 1&2. Changed plugs and coils. Swapped injectors. No change. VSC flashing, traction control on, hi/lo flashing. Check engine light flashing. I’m going to do a leak down and compression test, thought I’d throw this out there and see if anyone has this issue. Thanks for any help!

Are you sure it isn't an air injection valve issue? I had all those same symptoms with the all the lights on the dash flashing and it caused my truck to go into limp mode. I purchased and override kit on ebay and haven't had issues since. Sounds like you know way more about engines than me, just comparing symptoms.

I just looked into that. The only thing is that when I ran the codes it started with misfire #1 and now it says random multiple misfire and started on cylinder #2.

Man, I don't know. I have a code reader and can go back and look at the history to see. I feel like it pulled those same codes but I'm not sure sure

Just found this guy with the same problem. He mentioned a capacitor discharge. Going to give it a go.

Hope that helps, but if it doesn't, you might try posting in the Ask the Toyota Mechanic and see if @Ruggybuggy can help.

Before you do anything clear all the codes, run the truck and address the codes that come up first.

Start simple then escalate. When was the last time run changed the spark plugs? How many miles on the truck?

Cleared up all codes. Same things come back. P0300, P0301, P0302. Idles about 950 and shutters hard even up to about 3,000 then smooths out alittle. Swapped coils and plugs and injectors. Still no change and the LO Is flashing vsc flashing check engine light flashing trac off.

So you have misfires on cylinder 1 and 2 with multiple misfires? Do you have a way to see the data stream and check which cylinders are misfiring?

I have a verus but it hasn’t been loading for some reason. I found cylinder 5&7 spark plug tubes full of oil. Oh and fuel pressure is good

Don’t be concerned about the other warning lights. Toyotas light up like a Christmas tree when CEL is flashing.

When the tubes are full of oil the high voltage jumps to ground and never fires the plug. Your going to have to fix the oil leaks and replace the boots on the end of the coils.

The oil leaking could be a issue but I'm not 100% sure on it but leaking oil is never a good thing. Should address the oil leak issue no matter what.

1.) is your battery terminals clean and tight also grounds tight / non corroded.
2.) is your your battery getting 13.2-14.8v while running
    3.) air filter clean?
4.) is each spark plug firing (individually test them) and coil.
5.) what do the plugs look like? New , grey , black or mega gap the size of the Grand Canyon?
6.) are each fuel injector firing on time and is the spray pattern correct?
7.) find something that can hold fuel thats clean and get a sample of the fuel from the injectors about 1oz or 2oz and let it sit over night this will allow water to separate if there is water in the system/check conditions of the fuel.
