Good morning all. With the fall and our colder nights I expect to see the tire pressure drop a bit when I get in my truck. A couple questions for you all.

    1. Any ideas why one side will set off the alert while the other won’t even they both read the same pressure?
    2. With the stock tires I have been running the 30 psi up front and 33 psi in back per the sticker. Beside a stiffer ride, any reasons not to just go up a few psi in each to avoid the pressure dropping below the alert level?

Don’t see an issue with goosing the pressure a little.
As for the alert, I’m thinking it might be related to what the actual pressures were last time the TPMS was reset. It gives a few psi tolerance, so that other tire may have been a little lower at the time

I ran the stocks at 32 up front and 34 in the back. No issues, and I never thought it was a rough ride.

I’d have to read the manual again, but I’m pretty sure @RainMan_PNW is right. It is based on when the system was last reset. So if the fronts were at different pressures then, it wouldn’t alert on one.
I run my pressure at 40psi. I hate the squishy sidewall at 35psi or lower. It is a little rough at slower speeds (in the neighborhood) but the Pro suspension eats it all up once you reach 30mph.

Thanks for the input @RainMan_PNW and @Green Thunder I think I’ll air up a few psi and the man reset the TPMS.

Getting the house ready for more rain and winter. Taking down wife’s wind chimes, covering up outdoor furniture, taking down bird houses, inspected gutters/roof, and getting sprinkler system blown out. Almost done and then beer and a late lunch.

tis the season. I did my gutters a few weeks ago and started winterizing the trailer. Next weekend I finish the trailer and put the garden “to bed”.

It’s the official start of dark beer and homemade chili season!

So glad we did the headless gutters two years ago. Wasn’t cheap but I don’t have to clean them three times a year now to get the maple helicopters and alder leaves out of them.

We’re still buried harvesting and processing. Apple’s are just starting to get ripe, so there’s that on the horizon soon too..89253A5F-EA1E-4E61-BBD3-4FA5C788EC3B.jpg6BFC3F82-5D26-48BB-B65F-B42EDE37FAF5.jpgThat’s Lima beans in the tub, the red peppers there are mini-bells and that’s just a fraction of the jalapeños and green chilies. I don’t think we’re going to be buying a lot of vegetables or fruit for a while. Citrus of course is the major exception

I’m considering those. We installed a metal roof last year so my time crawling around up there is over. Moving a ladder in 10’ increments sucks.

Another post that makes me say “that’s what I wanna do when I retire”. Think you are my Retired Spirit Animal

Come on out! Then I'll go your way and hunt blacktails. It's the only species I haven't harvested.
:fistbump: I posted better pics in the hunting thread. 20211003_100001.jpg 20211003_100013.jpg
From looks of it, I'd say late stages of velvet. Antler is cracked so it was starting to harden. But it was either deer spooked on the shot or negligent aiming for the ass or head as the broad head is entering from behind his head.
I am guessing it broke off when he was rubbing the velvet off his antlers.

Just an antler mount. I debated doing the weathered look and putting above my back door. But I'll put this one in my office. I put a whitetail head in a tree for two years. When I get a place with a garage it will hang outside on the garage. The back tine almost touches the eye guard. It's all skull and antler now, with the antlers turning whitish grey. I like how it turned out. PEWLpqN.jpg

If it broke, wouldn’t the piece of aluminum or the insert still be there?
