The dealership is quoting me just under $1,500.00. That seems a little steep. I thought it was between $700-900.

Seems a little on the high side. What are they quoting you for labor? You may want to call some other dealerships & get a quote from them. Maybe even get a price for the exhaust minus the labor & see what 4 Wheel Parts (or any other performance shop) would charge you for the install.

I asked via PM on a dealers site. I found some couple for $20 off, 20% off etc...from what I read most can do it themselves in 1-2 hours...I believe it's 4 bolts..however, I would hate to do this myself and have a CEL pop up that I am stuck to fix instead of the dealer if they did the install..

Looks like $600 for the exhaust system, and $400 for the tail-pipe according to this dealer site...add tax in...($200'ish?) and just under $200 for labor?

I cant imagine that would cause a CEL. I'm new to Tundras but changed the exhaust myself on my previous silverados and never had a problem. I don't think there are any sensors beyond the catalytic converter. I may be wrong though?

I could help you install Sean. Just not sure about the hangers on the non-existing pipe side. If they need to be welded on, i cannot help you.

It cost me $1000 for the exhaust and $120 for the install from the dealer on my 2013 Rock Warrior.

The last time I was at the dealer they gave me a 20% off coupon for any accessory. Was going to see if you wanted to use it. I read the fine print at the bottom and doesn't include TRD accessories. Figures.

I found a 20% off coupon that doesn't say anything about TRD parts being omitted.

My coupon was attached at the bottom of the dealer customer satifaction survey form. I remember it excluding TRD accessories. I was going to attach the coupon so you could see but the coupon is at home. Thought it was in the truck. I got wet running outside to look for it. Dang it.
I remember when first looking at the coupon at how cool 20% off would be on accessories until I read the bottom.

Mine was $1000 for the parts and $65 for the installation. I checked three nearby dealerships at the time. The other dealerships were charging $100 and $300 for the installation (as I remember). Shop around. Not all the dealerships charge the same amount.

That also included a TRD cold air intake and install, so subtract $650 from the invoice which is $1227.

Here's the one I was talking about. This has the dreaded asterisk. It does say TRD parts nothing about TRD accessories. Is the exhaust a part or accessory? :infantry::plane:toyota_edited-1.jpg

I have not pulled the trigger on the exhaust yet. They just quoted me $1800 parts n labor. Pretty pricey!
