Door panel

I have a 17 Tundra Platinum Crew Cab. I am looking for a replacement for the drivers door panel which has cracked, and I am also looking for the drivers seat trim piece that the seat controls are in. That too has cracked. If I get them from the dealership, the two pieces come to around $1500 which I think is insane. Any suggestion, besides just trading in to a new 2022 Tundra in a few months which is a possibility actually. lol.

What caused the cracks and how bad? Can you use some glue? If it's quality issues for a 2017, I'll stay away from 2022. lol

 

The several cracks in the drivers side door interior panel is unfortunately from my knee resting into for years. I am a very tall man and my legs have to go somewhere unfortunately. The seat control trim piece just cracked where the front of the trim meets the front corner of the seat. Just years of use is my guess. I have a zip tie holding it in place at the moment. Nothing hit it or anything. Never had these problems on the two Silverados I owned in the past. I will take a picture of the two issues and post them up here tomorrow so you can all see what I am talking about. The 2022 Tundras I am told aren't as 'plastic' on the interior. So who knows.

Wow, I thought my door panels were bad.
Mine are just scratched up, it takes nothing to scratch them.
My watch has really tore it up just by putting trash in the map pocket while driving..

On the seat control piece, I had to replace that on my 2014 SR5.
Just getting in and out of the truck breaks the tab that hooks over that metal bar and holds it in place.
