Oh yeah, that'll be nice to put the phone in airplane mode for a few days and enjoy yourselves.

I have a time chart for our seafood boil if you like. Also have a pretty good dipping sauce I could share.

Well I typed out an entire post bitching about the weekend and its stupid shenanigans....but decided to delete.

Sometimes you need a sign that puts your problems/issues into perspective. That happened today before I left work.

@Dsptundra did you check out the Cars and coffee?

So I can only assume you guys have seen some of the 2022 stuff. I have as well. Waiting for the mileage numbers. I will say that I am looking at some other options also. I accidentally found the Lexus IS500. Yeah...I wouldn't be mad at that as a daily. Would need to find something for the winter commute though. Even started looking at some Tesla options. Thats a funny story too.

Hopefully you guys had a good weekend.

Sounds like your day turned around for ya, that's always good.

That IS500 have the same 3.5TT?

I got frustrated out hunting so I bagged it early. Watching football with the family, about to throw some wings on the grill!

Haha this was an accident find. Now that they have been doing more drive reviews I still like it but up popped the Tesla. One of the dads on my daughters team has one. Zero maintenance, no gas, and minimal charging fees is pretty attractive…especially with a 2.9 0-60 time.

    Guess we will see.

Yeah, you can't deny the benefits of a Tesla.
Having really cheap power where we live, we'll have to give it a serious look when we retire the Sequoia.

Yeah that’s what I’m thinking. I commute 50-60 miles a day. That jumps to about 80-90 on practice nights. If I have to go to work and commute for a game it gets spendy. The last tournament of this summer I spent $127 dollars in a weekend just for gas. Now I average $87-100/week in gas. The wife isn’t doing much better with the lifted 4R. That weekend alone we probably spent $200-225 in gas and never left the Portland/Vancouver area.

    That's crazy.
My commute is 40 miles round-trip. When I work nights I could drive the Tesla and plug in at work, costing me zero American pesos to commute.
    Very tempting :burnrubber:
Not to mention I could do all the home wiring needed.
Shit.. I'm talking myself right into a Tesla!

Man do I feel this. Between dropping off and picking kids up and practice/competitions me and my wife average around $125 a week in fuel I’m a tundra and a Camry. We live in Wenatchee so idk where the hell all these miles are coming from haha.

I feel ya. Used to drive a F350 that cost me $450 a month in gas and $200+ for a weekend of camping. Nutty.

I’ve driven in a Tesla 3 and S. They are sexy rides and stupid fast. With all the driving you are doing an electric definitely makes sense. The reduced maintenance is appealing and being able to “gas up” at home while you sleep sounds awesome. Good luck with your decision!

Welcome to our corner of the forum. Feel free to hang out and contribute.

I should have bagged it. Time for new tires. P rated stock tires did well until they didn't. Blew a tire headed out hunting on some sharp rocks. I'll be looking for new tires this week. Small 1/2" gash in the middle of the tire. When it happened I was expecting the sidewall to be blown.

I had a surprise visit from my electrician while watching a model Y review. So I asked if he could add their charging cable to my panel or if I need a secondary or anything else. He said I should be good with the current panel. So that’s good news. I also got one of those “We want to buy your truck emails from the dealer”. I thought we’ll maybe I’m ordering one this weekend haha. Deciding to wait till next summer still.

We used to have that same combo. I commuted in the Camry and let the wife take the truck since her work was like 6 miles away.

Yeah it seems to be a good choice. I don’t know if I am 100% ready to switch yet or not. Would be looking at a 3 or Y either with the Performance option selected.

:burnrubber: wore them as fast as I could lol. Wanted bigger and better tires, but wanted to use up most of the stocks as you really don't get anything for them even if basically no miles on them.

I’ve never had a set of OEM tires wear down as fast as these Michelins. It is kind of crazy.
