I do not know who else is involved. All I've heard about is the potential for solid state battery tech coming soon, and Toyota being the only company getting close to that, likely in conjunction with someone like Panasonic.

I feel that the previous F-150 looked better than the new one. Especially the headlights

This spoke to me more than any other color or trim I have seen! I don’t know why he’s talking about candy bars, Twinkie's and books though.

Yeah I thought those headlight where really cool when they came out. The dlr on the new ones look nice. The side profiles just have never been very exciting.

I like the Platinum and the 1794 looks really good with the new color interior… but I like the Pro… probably can’t afford any of them and end up with a TRD sport…. But that’s good with me to…

Why does it look so low? I noticed that when looking at all them. Then in one video when he lowers the tailgate it looks like it’s at his knees.

In the non TRD trims it’s the best color I’ve seen. I also like the color matched stitching that goes in the cab.

Mike sweers said that the ground clearance didn't change, maybe slightly more. The truck itself may just have a lower profile, especially with how much them seemed to focus on aero dynamics.

I like the blue when the sun hits it, but if it's the same as the other yota rigs then it's way to dark and it's basically black in the shade.

I'd like to see cavalry or that new Chevy zr2 blue.

    Any photoshop pros out there?

Here is a Pic,best I have seen and of an SR which to me so far is the most tasteful version of the new truck too.

Hopefully in a couple-few years they push the hybrid down to that trim.

That is very nice looking color in Platinum trim and the long bed. ... And that interior. Very tempting, but have to be a few years before trading for me.

Sweers didn't commit to ground clearance compared to the current gen, made some kinda sorta-ish comment. People have commented that the active airdam is not protected by a skid plate. So no matter the trim the active airdam whether deployed or not it will not be protected.

Maybe better to have an easily removable airdam. That allows a front skid that covers from the radiator crossmember on back, same as all previous Toyota trucks.

If you're driving fast enough off road for the air dam to be deployed, the Tundra is not the truck for you.

at what speed does it deploy? I heard 18 mph. If that’s correct mine will get torn off on the first good bump I hit.

For some reason I had 40 mph in my head. But maybe it's 25 mph (40 kph). I thought the 18 mph was the max speed where the hybrid engine works.

it would be great if that’s something you could control in the settings. If I could set it at around 55 it would be a pretty nice feature. But driving 40-50 on back grounds isn’t uncommon and sometimes those potholes surprise you.

Everyone complaining about the fender flares has apparently not seen any other recent Toyotas.
