I have very broad music tastes and listen to quite a few different things.
From time to time I put the Apple Music on random.
With all the music I have it can be quite an assortment of music throughout the day.
But a couple of years ago, my wife and I noticed something weird.
It seems to play multiple songs from artist that are about to pass away.
The last time it did this was last year, the day before Eddie Van Halen passed.
It also did this before Bill Withers passed last year.
The first of 2019 Captain and Tenille played.
I was like, I don’t have that saved in my music.
My Mom loves them.
The next day, Daryl Dragon passed.
But It really made me first take note in 2019 when Keith Flint passed.
I hadn’t listened to anything Prodigy in a while.
That day before he passed like 4 or 5 Prodigy songs played on random.
Then later that year, I had a day of The Cars mixed in.
Next day, Ric Ocasek passed.

Oddly though, today it played Van Halen again like 8 or 9 times.

Has anybody seen David Lee Roth?
And how can I get a message to him?


Anyway.
It reminded me of how badass they were back in the day.

Got to see them a couple of times with DLR and a couple of times with Sammy. Wearing those concert shirts the next day at school got you nods and smiles from the cool kids... Drop Dead Legs is still one of my favorite songs ever, and one of very few that will make my old-man-ass turn the volume up no matter what mood I'm in... Good stuff.
