Yup. The EPA is cracking down on "tuning" modern cars. Pretty sure California passed a law prohibiting it. It is what you drive off the showroom floor.

Toyota is famous in the tuner world for being very difficult to ECU tune.

Goes all the way back to the Supra days.

I think the mpg will be better than alot of people are suspecting. 4hrs at max towing is pretty solid depending on speed and terrain obviously.
I can't get 4hrs in my 16' towing a 5k bass boat. Hook the TT up that is technically at max due to tongue weight but 2k under towing cap and I get maybe 3hrs if I don't have a head wind.

Check this video at 4:14. There is a reservoir.

Edit, just realized you said front reservoir, not sure about that one.

Is the locking rear diff a feature on all 4 wheel drives, or just on the TRDs? I know one of the videos mentioned it but I can’t remember.

Two dealers I know of will not take any money because they can not order a truck and do not know when they can. I do not know if what you were able to do is a bad thing or a good thing?? Weird though I tell you that??

I think it’ll come down to how expensive the nicer trims are and if there are dealer markups. I could believe that 1794 hybrid plus dealer markups could be north of 65. (If there are dealer markups)

I’m just saying by law that’s the minimum. Of course manufacturers can tweak it to gain customers

Well then just make sure when they squeeze, nothing comes out. If you walk in with the mindset that you're going to pay more, then you're going to pay more, it's that simple.

    Yikes. A 5.5' bed isn't even enough!

Just like with gen 2, no sunroof available in a double cab for gen 3 either. They went nuts and joined the stupid "panoramic" giant ass sunroof club so definitely no chance of it on a DC.

I only recently looked at the backseat of a gen 2 CM for the first time and thought it had way too much wasted space so for me stealing a few inches AND putting it to good use is a win/win. Of course I'm sure there are those who enjoy or make use of the gen 2 back seat - hopefully it won't piss you off too much if you notice.

@TundraLaw I just saw your post and was wondering are all Toyota dealers on a: "I'll put you on the list and wait for allocations" as oppose to direct factory ordering? I reached out to 5 or so in my area and they are all allocation based.

    Tough to disagree there.

All though honestly this is the first one I have seen that doesnt make me want to say bad things about it too, well aside from that grill of course.

I'm currently happy with my 2014 CM, but would love to get a 2022. Only things I really want is the hybrid, 14" infotainment, and digital dash. No pano roof, etc. If I can get the 3 things I want by getting a limited, I will get one next year. If I have to spend the $$ on a platinum to get those, maybe not.

I talked to a dealer in CT today and they said they plan on pricing this 10-15k over MSRP!!! Anyone else get similar info? This is outrageous and I'll just go find a Chevy/GMC

I think the torque increase is going to be crazy definitely down low at around 2400rpm is not even comparable to the 5.7 old school V8. 0-60 under 6 seconds I hope.

Was that any trim or TRD pro, either way ridiculous. I just dealt with every toyota dealer in CT trying to get a rav prime and only 2 or 3 would take msrp, the other 8 or so were 2-3k over. I may end up paying msrp some day for a pro but I'm not buying any other trim until the normal discounts return.
