Hi I am Joey. I was a rescue from a nasty environment. I used to be a Zoey until my first vet visit where it was discovered nobody can tell body parts apart. My 5 year old handler decided Joey was my new name because it sounds like Zoey. Ever since my new name I have turned into a complete shit. I like to run, jump, chew up the kids toys and break whatever I can to get attention. Oh and my favorite game to play is wake my people up every morning at 4:30.

I’m really not sure if anyone will even show up to my funeral...

I do know... that when I'm older my plan is to mostly talk gibberish, then, very occasionally, turn to a loved one and say,

I have a list of instructions for my funeral, updated when I think of something else. Mostly consisting of contradictory orders for each of my children.

Hopefully I’ll die slowly so I can arrange a Brewster’s Millions type farewell video. I’m going to designate certain inheritance values to each item they complete. The highest bonus will be paid if they manage to somehow arrange for the pallbearers to drop my casket and spill my corpse out.
Additionally, the funeral playlist will consist of the live version of Freebird, Abbey Road in it’s entirety, and Zombie because my wife hates it.

I read this quote years ago:

“There are three deaths: the first is when the body ceases to function. The second is when the body is consigned to the grave. The third is that moment, sometime in the future, when your name is spoken for the last time.”

My goal is to leave behind such an epic clusterfuck that the last death takes decades to occur.

Here’s my trouble makers. Izzy the calico came from a shelter. She’s a pig and is more social with my wife. Feel someone traumatized her when she was younger. Bleu is my girl, came from a friends farm and is trained to come to you by whistling. Very social and affectionate.
