What is your opinion of Toyota offering the Lunar Rock color on various trim levels for 2022, including the SR5?

If nothing else it will be interesting to see how many want to buy that color on those trim levels since it is no longer an exclusive color. Time will tell.

 

Every exclusive color becomes available across the board on other trims after the first year. Nothing really exclusive or limited about the colors.

 

Looks like cement is gone for 2022 though eh?

 

I think Toyota should keep TRD Pro colors exclusive to the trim, but they have been doing it for a few years now so not surprised.

I will say that the 2021 Tundra Lunar Rock is the last year of the V8 and the last year of the 2.5 gen body style, only offered in 2021. So that does make it exclusive in a way.

 

Those are the reasons I got mine, and am keeping it.

 

Just my opinion if anyone is worried about the value I think it will still keep a strong value because last year for the V8. But if you are not worried about trading it in then enjoy it.
