Not giving you a hard time. I was out in Melbourne in 2004 helping a friend start a Calibration Lab. Got there in June. Just in time for hurricane Charlie, then Francis, then Ivan. Couldn't leave soon enough. Florida is nice but bad timing for me.

:rofl::rofl:I guess that the choice of words I.e., modification vs conversion means the same thing in this case. For clarification, I am not saying that a conversion/modification of a Gen 2.5 to Gen 3, would be each and every bolt from the Gen 3 to the Gen 2.5. That would be a waste of money. It would be much more cost effective to just buy a new 2022 model tundra instead.

I am saying that for someone like myself who has a Gen 2.5 and has the time, interest, and spare change to invest in converting the Gen 2.5 to Gen 3, then we would hope that there are other individuals out there that has/will come up with the skills and know how to assist us in converting our Gen 2.5. My Gen 2.5 has been paid off a few years now. So, if I were going to try to convert it, I would not be in any situation where I am modifying a vehicle that I didn’t own either.

Well, you know what they say about Florida….”Everything happens in Florida.” I’m actually from New York and never saw a hurricane until I came to Florida for college. But, after serving in the military, I can live anywhere.:rofl:

Few do. I go back every now and then with the wife to hit the new PX, but I definitely don't miss it. I had it good too (for Fort Hood standards) - I worked in III Corps headquarters.

I remember my short time in FL. There are some very high tech manufacturing companies there. Very high tech companies with military contracts. Almost everyone I met onsite doing a calibration seemed to be from out of state. You could tell the who the locals were.. Beer gut rednecks with two flags flying out back of their crazy looking trucks. Merica flag and Confed flags with Lynerd skynyrd music cranked up. Good folks I'm sure. Gator hunters prolly. Who knows. Florida is an interesting state for sure. I'm going to catch hell now from our Washington state folk members, but the FL Idalia onions are the best. Better than Hawaii sweet onions. There...I said it it !

Nope. Two completely different trucks. May as well try to convert it to an F-150 or a Silverado.

When was it last time that you drove through most of Merica? The two flag system are here to stay. I went to NY City last week and were surprised to see very high lifted pickup trucks with the two flags there. The same thing I saw in LA California back in June, and in Chicago in July.

I think that it makes their trucks run faster:rofl::rofl:

All I know is that I was able to buy Vidalia Onions near Jacksonville. Not too far south of the Georgia line. Maybe imports...ha!

When was the last time you drove in Tokyo? When was the last time you drove in Manila? When was the last time you drove in Anchorage? Milne Point? Kuparik? Drove from Flori-dah to Aurora, CO in 2004. Left Aurora and drove all the way up to Anchorage in 2011. Drove back to Aurora in 2012. Up thru BC, to Yukon Territory then into AK. Drove back thru Yukon into Alberta, down thru Montana, Wyoming...to Aurora. Pretty much have driven thru most of Merica.....next......lol

Luckily, I only had to pass nearby Ft Hood on my way to CO. Ft Hood, that's an exotic (not) wasteland duty station. Sort of like being stationed at Adak....at least at Adak the Navy squids could fish for salmon and catch real crabs....
