    I actually thought this was pretty common on new vehicles. Maybe it only works if the truck is running? :fingerscrossed:

    Once again, my Kia is top of the pack. Pulling on the interior door release handle will cause it to unlock.

    this has to do with impacts on the vehicle. if someone was to whack your car pretty hard from the outside, the system would construe this as a hard impact and unlock the doors and then the car jacker could get into the vehicle easily.

    guess start/stop disable you have to push the button after every engine start up. hopefully techstream you can adjust this to off permanently but i doubt it.

    That's what I mean. Hoping it only checks for or reacts to hard impacts when it's running. Otherwise, like you say, it's too easy to break in.

    automatic front spoiler (if equipped)

    thank god for only working above 40F, that thing would be stuck 4-6 months of the year up in ND

    lots of ambient lights in the tundra, 2 per side in the rear, 1 in drivers door and passenger door, plus other front general locations.

    I think he said it cut CD down by 5% when deployed but increased it when towing; I don't think he specified how much worse though. Overall the new design has a 20% lower CD vs the current gen.
