Its annoying ASF, me and fiancee just moved from AL to IL, my 26' ft penske truck had this it would read the speed limit than flash and beep at me for going over it and then brake, longest 12 hrs of my life.

Yeah, I don't think it would actually affect me if I ever bought one.

Must have missed that about the 91 octane. Know where I'm the manual it says that?

Does anyone know if the press release at Motor Bella will be live streamed tomorrow? Is that when they will finally give us pricing and fuel economy numbers?

8 MPG sounds right - it's what the F150 gets towing no matter what engine is in it. Towing because of both weight and aero inefficiency is the killer of fuel economy (and electrical range) and it's a straight physics problem that just can't be avoided. So guess that means new Tundra could be between 15 MPG and 30 MPG based on the towing MPG

Easy example, going down the highway to shutdown is stopping at a rest area. Speed limit 70, you pull into a rest stop and have to wait 1 min before shutdown and you have to remember to disable the start stop for this procedure as well. So much for those saying they had faith in Toyota giving us a turbo timer.

but thats standard on all toyota's, 87 octane (91 ron) unless someone misread thinking the 91 ron was octane. but do you get the hp/torque numbers with 87 octane or 91 octane? that isnt shown in the manual i think.

I thought it would be badass and it didn’t disappoint.

I won’t buy one for a long time but would be in line if I was in the market

Here is a screenshot of the email from Toyota.

You can clearly read where it says octane rating of 91 or higher.

But the standard engine 3.5tt if you do put premium possibly will break 400hp and 490lbs that's what the land cruiser did and gain 9hp or so just by upping the octane to 91..

Okay. Well, I just watched a MotoManTV video released today and he has Andre Smirnov from TFLTrucks on to explain some of the details and Andre just said again in the video that he confirmed with the engineers that the truck uses 87 octane to get the 437hp/583lbs. So either the engineers keep giving Andre the wrong information (this is the 2nd time he has said the engineers told him 87 octane in two different videos) or the email is wrong.

That's what I'm saying I think the add is wrong possibly, manual says 87 octane.

Also, you'd think they'd have that disclaimer on their website if it applies. (I didn't actually read all the disclaimers but the only one in the specs section is about towing safely.)

Now that I have seen it and look at my 2020 Pro, I'm likeing my 2020 Pro so much better and not worth the extra money IMO. Too much chrome on the 2022 non Pro's, can already see everyone trying to get rid of it on here. Guess the people that get the V-6 can always put some playing cards in their spokes to make it sound more agressive!

Haven’t seen this posted here, but it appears there are two gas tank sizes. I’ve heard mention of the 32 gal tank, didn’t know about the smaller 22.5 gal tank.

Great, toyota will probably make you buy some $$$$ package just to get the bigger tank when that's all you care about
