    Too many, but not enough....
This redesign also affirms that I need to buy a current Gen 4runner before Toyota drives that off a cliff too when they hybridize it and move production out of Japan.

I like it and will have one, but I will wait at least 2 years.

I need to see fuel numbers before I'm interested. It all looks good, but I don't really tow so it's not much of an upgrade for me. Now if we are talking +8mpg, I'll have to think about it. I know the hybrid is speculated at 35, but I don't want a hybrid.

Well I don't see anything world beater so it must be MPG, 35 would definitely do it but I'm guessing 25 tops

I'm hoping 25 "city" real world without hybrid. That'll get me to bite for sure. If they put "20 City" on the sticker which will be 18 real world, then that's not enough for me.

Probably the same. I might wait 2-3 as I want to see some higher mileage on a twin turbo engine and new transmission without any issues.

The way it looks will grow on you. Just have to get used to it. It’s like that with every make / model whenever there is a body change.

Oh your right, especially since they don't make the "2nd" generation trucks anymore. The only questions left unanswered is pricing, longevity and how will it actually sell. Toyota is going to have reach a larger market then just previous owners.

I guess people are upset because the truck doesn't look exactly like they dreamed it would, and Toyota failed to deliver that supercharged V8 with 1000 hp that gets 30mpg they all wanted.

Definitely. I'm glad he isn't making claims that imply it will get 25 mpg towing or something stupid like that.

I wonder if they dropped the 60 mph towing limit...

The looks are a little more fashion forward than what I was looking for but I am going to reserve judgement until I sit in one.

I love it. Probably won’t be getting one till a few years in and I can get a used one for a realistic price.
Everyone else will love it once it’s on the road. All the people complaining it’s ugly will be driving one. They just don’t want to admit it yet.

I wasn't blown away by it but its starting to grow on me... at least the trim level with no chrome.

Considering I haven't be able to find a Tundra for the last 2 months I'll probably be one of the first to order one. I'm fine being a "beta tester" for Toyota

I bought my 2020 as my retirement truck, and plan to drive it till I can no longer drive. One thing that has irritated me about my crew max is the wasted space under the rear seat, that said I preferer the setup in my truck over the new setup. I use the back seat area for hauling stuff more than people, and that means the seats in the up position. With the new under seat storage they have effectively messed up the stuff hauling aspect of that rear seat area.

In my opinion they should have left the floor flat (should have been flat in the 3rd gen as well), and had an option to add the plastic bin for storage if desired.

I had similar thoughts, I estimated under 7mpg. My bet is it was tested at a lower speed (45-55), why else would Mike S. give the hours between stopping? If it were four hours at 80 miles per hour, Mike would have said 320 miles between fill ups at max towing which would be impressive. If it were best case scenario why would he bury the lead? Anyway just my 2 cents.

the new color is exclusive to the trd pro (at least for the 1st year if history follows on exclusive trd pro colors. they always seem to offer the color a year or few later on)

The 1794 interior was previously pretty hideous. Now I kinda like it… Hard to get a good look at the wheel options indoors under those lights.
I’m not much into black wheels, looks decent on trdP, looks a bit out of place on higher trim levels.

I bought my 2021 with the 2022 in mind. I wanted the rock solid reliability without all the technology gadgets coming in the 2022. Don't get me wrong, it looks like a nice truck, but I wanted my v8. I hope to have my truck for the next 20 years.

I've seen people mention it, but has anyone review confirmed a dedicated air to liquid external transmission cooler has returned?

Still processing. I don't hate it, but I don't love it either.

I want to hear about pricing and MPGs too.

I'll need to see it in real life, and wait for some driving impressions before making final judgement.
