Looks to be very similar. 6'2" adult fit back there fairly well, didn't make any comment on comparison.

Yeah same for me, it's very gaudy looking and I don't think it will age of well with the vehicle either.

For a base model. Less than 1500 lbs payload for the Pro.

Pro is 1500lbs payload. Tow 11k lbs.

I personally think they missed big in a few areas and caught up in many others.

Tundras.com - we need the tundra to have close to 2k payload and better fuel mileage, it's 2021 for crying out loud! XYZ truck has wayyy better numbers

    Toyota - delivers these specs

Tundras.com - No! Not like that!

Horsepower and Torque numbers are impressive for the Hybrid and the base engine is decent too. I would need to see the payload numbers on an SR5 with Identical options as mine though to see if I can get away with not getting a 3/4 ton. I still kind of want to do the better safe then sorry route though and get the 3/4 ton in the next few years.

After looking at more pictures it looks like they are trying to attract Honda Ridgeline owners, not big 3 owners. The non pro versions look like beefier Ridgelines

    I can't tell if you're being sarcastic.

If you are, how do you think everyone survived up to this point without full time 4wd or AWD?

Someone please garage their 2013 for me. I’ll buy it in a few years. I definitely don’t need infotainment. My phone and aftermarket receiver do just fine. Better mostly.

Funny seeing so many wondering how Toyota couldn't get more specs, yet for how long have many of us said don't tow more than 8k lbs or haul more than 2k lbs in any half ton. Toyota has fit into these max recommendations, why go more when it's not safe and is 3/4 ton or more range

It's a half ton truck. Payload can only go so high before it rides like shit. You can only tow so much before it starts getting dangerous due to the weight of the truck. You can only use so much horsepower and torque before it just becomes a numbers game. Personally I think the truck looks good in the videos, better than in the pictures. The features look good and specs are comparable to the others. As long as it has the typical Toyota reliability with similar specs to the others, I'm happy. I will say though that with as fast as technology changes now, Toyota needs to be ready to put out the next gen before 15 years go by.

TRD Air Filters, Front door windows tinted to match the rears. Wheel locks, Talons Garage cat shield, Tyger Automotive soft tonneau cover, WeatherTech floor mats with Tuff Skinz Custom Emblem kit, Toyota OEM Emblem Black Out kit. AVS vent covers on all four doors, Red Tundra letters on front bumper & TRD highlighted in Red on front grille. Tailgate Tundra Letters in Black.
It’s growing on me. I definitely need a 6.5 bed so I like the bigger cab for that. I wonder what the mpg’s are?

The grill is huge! I like the integrated bumper. At least that’s something that doesn’t need to be aligned like my 2017

Lots of information to absorb here. I am absolutely loving how this truck looks. The engine appears to be that wretched 3.5 from the Tacoma with turbo chargers, so I'm very interested to see how this truck performs in real life. Would they have hooked it up to the space shuttle again?
