If I buy this generation Tundra it will have to be a Pro b/c the other trims do not look good to me.

I was surprised by that as well, the bed was very underwhelming. My 2012 Tacoma has more features then this does in that aspect, I have two cubbies, invertor and two storage compartments, deck rail system.

For how long it took them to offer an update they hardly moved the bar forward.

You could have a subforum titled I will only be happy if they made a half ton have 1 ton payload and towing.

Sorry guys, I was expecting a nicer looking truck, both inside and outside, plus I don't care for the V6 only engine option. I am sure it will be a great truck for those that like it and I'm glad for them. Unfortunately, its not for me. I waited patiently for the new Tundra to be revealed - and now it has. Guess I'll be sticking with my 1st generation for a bit longer..

Pretty much everything about the new model is disappointing. Guess I’m holding on to my 2016 for as long as possible now.

Hmm. “Up to 1900” lbs payload (which will be on a 2wd), IRS, electric parking brake… Kinda happy my ‘08 will go a long while yet.

Really interested in how the different trims compare. Platinum or 1794 CM 6.5' bed hybrid is on the top of my list, but wondering if I could get by with a Limited, can't see memory seats being offered lower than that

Looks better than I thought from previous images. It’s funny when he gets to the part about wheel tire size…it’s not 35s, it’s 33s on an 18 rim, it’s not 35s, it’s not long articulation like a Raptor…

I’m underwhelmed by the numbers. I was expecting/hoping Toyota to crack 500HP/700TQ and 2k lbs payload. I’m not expecting it to be an HD truck, but I truly thought it would debut at the front of the 1/2 ton pack, especially since Toyota doesn’t have an HD offering.

Easy. They'll boast 600 lb ft of torque in a month or 2. Hopefully someone will put both on a dyno and see the true numbers

I want to see estimated mpg’s and back seat leg room. Even if my payment went up $100 a month I would save money not getting my current 10-11mpg adding up to 500-600 dollars a month. But if the back seat on the crewcab is any smaller I’m out.

not a big fan of the camo-esque black trim on the PRO, it almost kills the whole thing for me. I am impressed with the specs though...
