Plus the batteries is under the backseats so you lose that storage space.

Did they say what the size of the tank was? Because when I'm towing 6-7K, I'll bet that bitch only gets 6.5 mpgs, just like the powerboost. Their own spot even states,"...functions like a 6 cylinder until you ned more power"?

Sooo powertrain wise(I know its paper specs) but it took 10 years to catch up and it still isn't going to outperform a sweatshop part filled Ford??

I think it looks good but holy shit, total boner kill numbers wise so far.

Those power numbers for the base ttv6 are a letdown. They would’ve been better off keeping the 5.7 with a 10 speed for the base engine and then the hybrid as an upgrade.

Not much on paper, but if the tt makes that power a lot lower in the ram band, it will make a significant difference in how it feels and drives.

Seems Toyota doubled down on their strategy of removing utility from the Tundra. Not only less storage, NO storage now under the bench seats.

What a POS. So much for "world beater". I owe all those "fools" that bought 2021s an apology.

True, but I was comparing it to the ford ecoboost numbers which are 400/500 since they’re the pack leader. I do really like that toyota made these engines to run on unleaded fuel though.

All that torque and no full time 4WD or AWD option?

That's gonna be fun in winter

They figured if there was no storage, you wouldn’t notice the continued horrible payload.

I think it is more of the big tease they have been playing since spring. I also liked a lot of the vehicles shown in the video and the 2022 Tundra looked better than what I was expecting from the leaked photos a couple of weeks ago.

This pretty much solidified that my next truck will be a domestic 3/4 ton. I’d take a Powerboost over this.
