I think they did a great job with it. The best part about buying a truck, is you can pick any truck out there. Too much tech? Go back a few years, or as far as you want. You can find trucks from the 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, and on, till you find what suites you. You don't have to have something new, and the world doesn't revolve around any one person on this forum when toyota decides to upgrade the tundra. They will sell all the tundras they make, regardless of anyone's opinion here.

    Tundra's available i-FORCE 3.5L twin-turbo V6 engine and i-FORCE MAX 3.5L twin-turbo V6 hybrid engine both deliver incredible power and remarkable efficiency.

That tailgate does not look as terribad as I thought from the pictures leaked a couple of weeks ago. Also notice the date information on the bottom:

Honestly, the truck looks great. For those who want more, this truck will give it to you. I am still not sure what fuel economy to expect though. Either way, I am with my 2021 for the next 20 years hopefully. But it isn't terrible. The stats on the truck are great.

Looks really good. The Pro looks the best of course. I'm happy with my '17, so I won't be purchasing one anytime soon, but I could see myself in one a few years down the line.

No, it's the max for the new gen, a whopping gain of 210 lbs over the current gen if memory serves. My guess is most of that is going to be due to a reduction in the size of the fuel tank. Throw in the hybrid weight in the PRO/1794/ Platinum, and you are probably back to 1185 lbs. Utter disappointment, I was truly hoping for something special, this ain't it.

Yep. The OP simply wanted to let us know that we can check out the Yota ad at halftime and certainly did not need to devolve into a NFL, etc hate thing.

Well watching the tfl vid on it, the camo trim pieces on the pro are horrible. I finally see the Seam for the rear bumper. Interior is an improvement minus the camo deal again.

Man...wait till these die hard, opinionated, freedom keyboard warrior guys find out toyota is based out of Japan

But seriously, aren't there alot of football forums you guys could join to hash this out on? Nobody here could care less about anyones opinion on anything other than what color is the fastest, which is MGM :burnrubber:

There is a good reason the first 50ish seconds of this 60s spot shows vehicles that are not the 2022 Tundra. Toyota doesn't want us judging it on it's own merit, but what they have done in the past.
