I’m content waiting for about a year to see how the new truck pans out and allow prices to stabilize. Never buy when demand is high and quantities are low. I never fall into the “got to have the first one” mentality.

One of the astonishing thing about this thread, you can abstain for reading it for a day or two and when you come back there are many pages of new posts to catch up, which I personally don't do (did for a short while initially) but find it comical now. Where does everyone get the time? Rhetorical question I know, but still. Now back to our normal programming of pedantic pontifications.

I bet there’s some footage of it playing in the dirt, too. They’ve got still photos of that…it would make sense they filmed it as well.

It’ll be a hood scoop alright, but this time it’ll be functional! A giant USB port for charging.

I agree,, but if they only offer inferno for yr 1, then it will be tough to hold off and rightly so for quite a few ppl.

But how would you know what colour options would be offered in the 2nd year?

Is this picture legit? If so, it looks like I’ll be keeping my current truck that much longer...

I wish they could have kept the current body style and just given us some new tech and upgraded the powertrain options. Also, is it just me or does this look smaller than the current gen? Not a fan, sorry.

You don't. Your at the mercy of Toyota. There is a list released each year, but I don't know the time delta of availability of when that info is released and ability to order a previous model yr color.

Inferno came and went pretty quick. Never to return.

Hopefully there are no flares on the platinum or if there is the tires are out flush not tucked

I wonder if we are still going to have one side stick out more than the other like we do now

I mean when you say something like:

"White trucks are stupid and look like pansies.
Wait for a real version with some character then compare."

I am not sure who the insecure one is....

I prefer the color matched to, but the black is more practical. My paint is all chipped to hell on the wheel wells.

Personally would have loved to seen the V8 with the new 10AT. Panoramic Moon roof does nothing for me.

Where do we tune in tonight at 9 for the debut, NBC? Are we expecting a traditional reveal or are we just getting a 30 second commercial??

I’ll be honest, I haven’t been impressed with the 22 exterior until their latest inferno looking color pic. I dig that color on it. Unlike the white it complements the body lines and aggressive front end.

Ok, for those of you not tuning into Sunday Night Football, TFL is releasing their HANDS ON video at 8:58pm. Which may mean the Toyota commercial is before kickoff and the embargo ends after it airs?

Regardless, expect the TFL video to have significantly more content and specifics.

I was the same way with my cement pro. My last truck, never gonna give it up. Brought to our dealer for an oil change and my wife wanted to tag along. Salesman said the had any Army Green Pro on the lot that they ordered for somebody from Utah and then he backed out. It fixed every gripe my wife had about the Cement Pro (dual climate control, electronic adjustable passenger seat, moon roof, etc.) next thing I know, we are driving home in an Army Green Pro. No complaints from me though.
However, I’ll probably wait a few years to see how these new ones do before I bring my wife in with me for an oil change.
