I had the same problem with critters nesting there, so I formed a piece of wire mesh for the inlet and held it in place with some silicone. Problem solved.

 

Spray the filter with peppermint oil.

 

it helps give the exhaust a pleasant minty aroma as well.

I've seen threads about building screens. Figured it's a garage queen and that wasn't my life. I'll be doing that "mod" tomorrow.

Got my RCI sliders on, what a pain. Still need to drop the gas tank to get the final bolt in the back. I like em. Kick out is bigger than I thought it would be, but nothing wrong with that. I see why some might want to drill extra holes. I won’t need to for my purposes.

 

Busy weekend. Install a Gator FX3 bed cover. Finished installing the 3wliner auto up/down window module. Husky floor mats and finished installing the hood latch with the alarm switch. And played around with the Scantool MX+ that came in today.

 

Nice. I've got resonators sitting in the garage ready to install one of these weekends onto the TRD exhaust to hopefully cure my drone.

 

I debadged and destickered mine also and have the same tire choice from what I can see. Looks sharp and validates my decision to do so also.

Today I added the pop n lock tailgate actuator, exhaust, interior RGB lighting, tailgate led strip and chopped the front frame. now my nee neighbor has a tundra too!

 

Truck Stuff.

 

Added amber Rigid fog light covers, 3wliners power window module, Husky mats, and factory tow mirrors. The power window module is pretty sweet! Then again, so are the tow mirrors…

 

Are they the power fold tow mirrors? Pics?

 

OMG, you still have your back glass. From the hundreds of times I have seen that not work on Funny Videos' I didn't know it could be done.

Bought it ! 18 SR5. 4x2. Traded in my Silverado for it. Damn it feels good to be back in a Toyota.

 

So many mixed comments on this is the big thing that is holding me back. I love the idea of it and of course the way it looks but the reviews have me skeptical. Keep us posted on the status maybe you can change my mind.

 

Omg gas is pricey there!

 

It's been horrendously pricey globally for decades. I love having my V8 but I am aware that we are lucky we are not having to drive around with Fiat motor powered Tundras or other trucks for that matter.

 

I like the bed rug because it comes with the tailgate mat too...
