This is my philosophy on life, but in this case, i kinda like both. Leaning towards keeping the white lettering in. I think the black will look cleaner longer - especially if they get scuffed. I'm not known for keeping vehicles clean, either...

    Thanks all.

If you do decide to show the white letters, this product works very well and keeping the letters looking good.

I have two white vehicles and both have white letters in.

Works good even if you don't have white letters. It is hunting season here and I drive gravel roads. Getting that white dust off tires is a chore. I probably will not even wash them until I get done driving the gravel roads.

If it was a 1985 SR5 4x4 then white out is cool.

    Otherwise my vote is in.

    Ok thanks
Thats a really wide tire. I wanted the KOs 275/65/18 but right now they all all out of stock in my area. So I’m thinking of going with Nitto Ridge Grapplers same size or maybe 275/70s

Have you looked at custom wheel offsets...... Just got mine a couple months ago and when I was trying to decide what I wanted, seemed they had plenty of a lot in stock.

In. Accidental rubbing on a curb and you're screwed.

And they look like crap after a while. Faded, scrubbed off, cracked, etc.

I don't really consider it screwed, I will just pay 60 bucks to have them swapped to the other side if it gets that way

Yes Ford drivers are prone to rubbing up against curbs...
The rest us know how to drive..

I still say try to buy tires with blackwalls on both sides..
    My KO2s had that.

Raised white letters are so 1970 thru 1990...:eek2:

I've had KO and KO2 for years on multiple cars kept outside only. Not once have I had cracking or fading on letters. All it takes to clean is a tirebrush.

Im trying to find 275/65/18s without the raised white letters but can’t find them for that size tire. Not only that but in my area they are completely out of stock so I might have to go with something else.

I would go white out on a white vehicle with black wheels. Here's how I looked on my old 08 200 Series.

I told the sales lady when I bought my Tundra once you go white you never go back. I hung up and thought with my luck she won't be a white lady. Not sure if the KO2s on my truck came with white letters but fortunately they were black out.

I used to say out, but my current set of bfgs does not have white lettering. I have to say, it has started to sway my opinion.

I think it is look/era specific.

90s toyota pickup with bullet-hole style wheels: white out

Late model tundra with 20" TRD sport wheels: black out

Go white out on the right
    Black out on the left

You can't see both at the same time, but you can have both if you can't decide.! Lol
