Those will be options on other trims, or may even be an option on the pro too.

Correct, you can see it on the front end of the white Pro:

I have always loved the gmc in white diamond pearl, so I think in going to do the "chill pearl" if looks like what I'm looking for.

Otherwise.. agreed, I'm going back to "MGM". owned it for 5 years across a tacoma and tundra. No reason to change now.

I like the look of this truck from this angle. But check out the disclosure:

Model shown available March 2022. Other models available December 2021.

So that is in line with what my dealer was telling me, he said the base engine will be released in December, but the hybrid will be out sometime around April. Since iforce max logo has the blue on it they are probably referring to that not being available till March.

They did the same thing with the new Highlander. The hybrid came out 6 months later.

i don’t hate it. I just think pictures don’t do it justice and some detailed videos explaining why things are the way they are and up close will improve people’s opinions. Like the pics of the gen 3 tacoma were really ugly but in person the truck looks good. Never mind the mini van engine

Agree with this; I remember (I may take heat for this) when the updated Silverado/Sierra came out. The pics made it look like total @$$ but in person it looked far better. I strongly suspect such will be the same for the 2022 Tundra.

Not necessarily... They could still release a non-hybrid version of the Pro at launch and then add the option for hybrid later

Probably release the pro in December with the base engine, then the pro with hybrid in March?

Weird that the body lines on the Inferno Pro picture that was just released are different from the original Super White one. Check the fender lines.

I think demand for the hybrid Pro will be high, so buyers are going to get screwed. Dealerships will know their allotment of hybrids and will do crooked stuff like selling to the highest bidders and playing people off each other.

With the delayed release, I bet most of them will be spoken for before they make it to the dealership. It's exciting for those ready to get in line and pull the trigger.

Rumor was that was a 2WD and that was my thought when i saw it as well. Hopefully the 4WD will look a little meaner.

still needs to finish up the bottom coloured grill piece to finish it off so I'll like it... lol

That and Ram sport hood bits on the top aren't my fav. But neither was the fake scoop on current the pro/sport and that wouldn't have been a deal breaker either.

But the grill makes me sad. I can even handle the fake carbon plastic bits so long as they aren't over half the tailgate. But that grill... ew.

Honest question, if all trucks were debadged without "4x4" or some sort of Off-Road badging how many of could tell if it's 2wd vs 4wd? The red Limited truck was obviously a stock vehicle probably without the TRD Off-Road package. That's why it doesn't look aggressive or mean. A 4WD transfer case will not make a truck look meaner. You can lift a 2wd truck and put bigger meats on it and it would look off roady when its not.
