One season toward the end of the season my Crispis developed a squeak. After a thorough cleaning and Sno Seal it went away.

No respect anymore. That right there is the reason people don't let you hunt in their property anymore. So frustrating. Used to be good hunting in my area growing up. Not so much anymore.

If anyone uses the Toyota owners app, would you mind checking the Service page? I need to enter my latest oil change.
I've been getting this error all week.

I used to hunt in my late teens and early 20's, but gave it up after a dumbass almost shot me while hunting white tail. I don't know how you guys even feel safe out there anymore. Way too many idiots who don't know how to handle a gun.

That's why I got into archery and later on muzzleloader. Less people hunt with those methods

Yep, muzzleloader season is a lot better!
If I'm hunting modern rifle, I tend to hunt far from roads to avoid the guys piling out of the rig to start slinging lead. It's legal but I don't want to be anywhere near that shit.

Things got so bad in AZ, I pretty much lost interest in hunting. A lot of it occurred because quads allow lots of incompetent and lazy people to get access to spots that use to require a bit of work. There’s nothing quite like the feeling of getting up in the dark, slipping through the trees in the starlight, getting hunkered down in a blind near a hole and then, just as it’s getting light enough to see, some dipwad motors right up to the water and starts wandering around like he’s looking for tracks.

The only use for 4wheelers and the like should be for disabled hunters and to retrieve downed game if off road vehicles are allowed. Hunting from them loses the sport of actually hunting. Thanks for coming to my ted talk

I took the hunter safety course maybe 15-17 years ago. The course was horrible. Zero gun safety, including the instructors pointing guns at the class. There were a half dozen spoiled little dickhead brats in their early teens that didn’t have a parent taking the class with them. They acted like it was recess. One little chit was bored and tried to make it my problem. He probably learned a few choice words that day.

It was so bad I’m getting the shakes just typing this. I wrote a friendly but direct letter to the people running the class and they just said “Yeah, it’s what you get when you have volunteer instructors”.

I’m honestly surprised there are not more accidents every year.

Wow, that’s crazy (& sad). I took the course over 50 years ago when I was in Boy Scouts. Really good, really thorough, and very safely done. The field part was tied into some merit badge.

That's wild, no excuse for that even if they're volunteers.
My class was very informative and safe, through FFA.

My class was almost 30 years ago. Very professional.

But we must remember, since the 90's, the standard for respect and being courteous to others was already on the decline. I think the youth today could use some of the beatings I took as a kid. Everyone acts the way they do because they either haven't, or forgot what it's like to be punched in the mouth for their words and actions. There are no consequences for people's actions anymore.

Yep, and the roots of that began in the permissive ’free love’ of the late ‘60s and early’70s . Their children grew older and bred and now they are the teachers, professors, and leaders, now in charge. I’m gonna quit now before this turns political and I get banned.

That right there are my birthday presents. The bottom one my wife bought with my CC, so I got the text mssg. Boom! The small box on top she opened in front me accidentally. It is a purdy box that said Spiderco. Oh yeah…

My birthday is next week and works a little different. I ordered shocks that came in this week. I pulled them out and told my wife to wrap the box. Win win!
