Where’d you get it? And any feel for how fast it charges?

No problem. Only complaint is that it is always on (unless you press the button to turn it off) - more of an issue for some than others. Green - on, Blue - charging, Red - off.

One step closer to new wheels and tires for the 2020 to look better. I was really surprised when Discount Tire (price $312 per tire without installation) agreed to price match the Walmart website price ($230.54 per tire) on the Falken Wildpeak AT3W 275/70r18 tires. Was not planning on buying a spare because of expense but saving $80 per tire - enough to buy the 5th. Now debating what wheel to use on the spare. BBS forged TRD wheels for the others.

Didnt get before and after pics but got the wescott lift on the front at wescott designs themselves and they put on my rear 2+ CB shackles. Truck sits higher. Can't wait to get bigger tires now. Just wanted the tank a bit taller then stock pros

Looks like others gave you the answer. Good luck if you buy it... I like it so far. Charging time doesn't matter to me as long as it stays steady while I use it while driving

    Looks great. Two questions though.

    1. how did you get your forward facing turn signals to light up solid with your park lights. They don’t light up with my park lights on my 2020 led headlights. I really like the way they look with the drls.

    2. what raptor/clearance lights are you running in the grill? Did you use a fuse tap or wired to a switch?

    Thanks!

    1) Good question. I wondered the same thing for awhile…
It’s because my truck came stock with the old halogen headlights that had the amber DRL’s. And then with the new headlights, the truck still supplies constant power to the new turn signals thinking that its the DRL’s. Hopefully that made sense? Someone else might have a clearer way to explain it.
It’s kind of a fun easter egg…if a 3rd gen has the amber lights + outer light than it is probably a headlight retrofit.

    2) They are license plate LEDs from superbrightLEDs.
I have them fuse tapped to my tail lights so that I can run them with parking lights only.
My favorite part is that they are recessed behind the grill a bit (they are mounted to the underside of the hood.) so that they are completely invisible when off.

This is the thread I based them off.

Does this let you run fogs with high beams on? I haven’t heard of this mod yet.

    It does. It’s amazing.

This thread discusses a few ways of doing it.
    https://www.tundras.com/threads/diy-fog-light-mod.371/
However, as stated a couple posts ago by a couple folks, it appears that some of these methods don’t work with the 18+ trucks. But I personally can’t confirm.

It is not the ideal position as it may trap an air pocket at the top of cooler.

I have that part. It charges fast enough for me, but I'm the guy who gets nervous when the battery charge drops below 89%. I don't do much driving at night, and I default to putting my phone in the tray now most of the time (covering the majority of the LEDs). If those two factors weren't true, I might feel differently about the light output and its defaulting to on. To @Beesta 's point, it is pretty cool jumping in the truck and just dropping it in the tray. I'm getting the AAWireless dongle as soon as they can ship it, likely in October 2037, which will mean dropping it in the charging tray and having Spotify or Google Maps work without having to plug the phone in.

Finally did something! Colour matched the grille and hood bulge. I have front bumpershellz coming soon (hopefully) and then they will be off to paint. The rear was colour matched from factory. Love the look! They are OEM right from my local Toyota dealer.

Yesterday, had the Krown rust protection treatment done, time will tell if it something great or snake oil. I had to get rid of my 2002 F250 due to rust, truck ran great but was disappearing, so hopefully this will help.

Also had the dealer 5,000 mile service (tire rotation) done, had them change the oil and balance the wheels as well. Lots of people on here bash the dealer service, but I guess I am lucky my dealer seems quite competent, I had my Tacoma in there three times and now the Tundra in once it is always a great experience, I always double check fluid level, cap replacement, ... and never found anything that would be out of line for a reasonable person, some things I adjust or clean up, but I understand my level of detail is a little above and beyond a reasonable person.
