I hate an overcooked steak, so being I love it pretty rare I still use a therm. I've found if I take it off at 115, its usually about right. :anonymous:

I wish I would have gotten a pic.
I swear, a few years back, 1st Ave North, downtown Birmingham, a 1998 Oldsmobile, king mattress, fella spread eagle on the top holding it down.
I nearly wrecked laughing so hard.

Girls and guns seem to be this weeks theme, and you wonder why this thread is so popular. ;)

Check the build link in my signature.
I use a thermapen quick read for steaks/chops/chicken pieces
    130 on my steaks
    140-145 on my chops
150-155 on chicken breasts (and I’ll just pull the thighs at the same time because they’re more forgiving)
Let it rest for a few minutes and they all end up just right and still juicy and tender.

I worked for a guy in college that liked his steak blue. His cooking method was:
    1. Get the Weber kettle glowing hot
    2. Toss two ~16oz steaks on the grate
    3. Open a 12oz PBR and down it without stopping for a breath
    4. Flip the steaks while belching (one of those bottom of the beltline belches)
    5. Open another 12oz PBR and down it the same as the first
    6. Pull the steaks and bring them in the house (belching again).
then he’d put A1 on them and eat with a pile of potatoes. I don’t think I ever saw him eat a vegetable.

I only ate at his place once…it was just a little too rare for me.

Doublecab only for the missiles. The crewcab got nerf launchers. I think RCLBs come with ICBMs. RCSB's come with an angry mom swinging a hotwheel track.

Sorry for missing your post until now; this thread moves like a Tundra with TM slaps... They are map lights. They're very bright - the reason I moved down a notch and the reason these are up for the taking. If you like it that bright, they'll be good for you. Also, I think your '17 is fine; but for 18's and up with smart key, these come with a caveat. Interior applications are probably fine, but only probably. The same bulb fits the cargo lights, and exterior applications are not fine with a smart key. Who knew a bulb could cause radio interference, but here we are... No smart key, no problem.
