Just installed a decked system in my 1st Gen. now I don’t have a way to tie down cargo in the bed. Wondering if there are any solutions to this without ordering the decked tracks that screw into the base of the decked system. I’m cheap. But I do want to get something good. Thinking of tying down four wheeler and 96 gallon garbage cans. Thanks.

Could surface mount d-rings mount in the 4 corners of the Decked system?

Bully Dog makes some good ones that retract, sit flush when not in use. Had them on my 2001 and they worked great

I don't recommend these - I'm still looking for something better.

I have them on my truck and another set on my f250. Both require a screwdriver to pry the hooks up. They aren't very weather proof and I don't think they should be a maintenance item for them to actually work when you want to use them.

They are such a pain, I just revert to using the bed tie downs (obviously, this doesn't work for you).

EDIT: I'm in the northeast - maybe that's why.

I put them on my 2001 Tundra in 2001 and they were on that truck until I sold it 3 years ago without a problem. I loved them the only thing I ever did was a shot of WD-40 two or three times a year never had a problem

I don’t think so…there’s no good place to put them. Good idea though!

This is interesting for me too, but all I could find is this: https://www.bullringusa.com/product/gunmetal-flush-fit-tie-down-anchors-19-20-dodge/

Looks like it's for newer gens. They have a video on YouTube showing the install which says, "You'll find this fits some models earlier than the 2014 Tundra" but it's not too specific as to which models.

I have the Bull Ring USA pop up tie downs on my F150 but wasn't able to find them for my 05 DC. If anyone has part number, please post. Thanks.

    They may fit.

Take a couple pics/measurements of your pockets and I'll grab a couple of mine to compare.

This is taken directly from the A-Zon comments. I didn't end up buying because it looks like they're $25/pr there, not $25/set as I'd hoped, but I'm a cheapskate probably:

I think I'd trust the manuf'er on this one and use their advice as quoted or call the # if there are any questions just to avoid lost fundage.

If they hadn't lumped both the 1st gen and 2nd gen crew cabs together I'd agree... but they did.

I apologize for the late response. I will try to post them tomorrow. Work and other things have ramped up for a few days so no promises but I will try. I really appreciate your effort to help. Only thing inhibiting me right now is I have the camper shell on right now so I will need to slide it back to get the measurements.

Alright so here are the stakepocket measurements. Roughly 2” long (bumper to bumper) by 1 5/8” wide (rear tire to rear tire)A40FAF04-5544-43C9-BDEE-7C50FD4A28AC.jpgB7AC6694-AACB-4E85-83F5-2AC22D17F7E5.jpg

Here's the important part, the part that drops into the rail is 1 15/16" at it's widest. The plastic overlaps 11/16" front and rear. I think it'll work.

Interested to see how this goes. I know I've seen people install tie down points in these holes on Chevy trucks and I've wanted to find something for my truck to use there for more tie down points. Just kind of keep forgetting to look into it.

Install is not possible as of right now. My stake pockets have nothing for me to lock the d ring to. Looks like those core trax from decked are gonna be ordered soon.
