So I am always looking at other Tundras on the road on my daily drive. I started wondering why you don't see popular mods on the other trucks. Yesterday was the very first time that I saw another truck (2nd gen) with Morimoto XB's on it. I don't hear any other DD exhaust systems either. What do you guys not see? Disclaimer: this post was a result of boredom at work.

I'm always on the lookout for Tundras that have JDM wheels, but mine is the only one that I've seen so far. Seems like most truck owners are more financially responsible than me.

I've never seen another around here with black TUNDRA lettering stickers in the tailgate logo.

The vast majority of Tundras I see are pretty much bone stock other than tires.

Hardly ever see de-badged Tundras. It's the first mod I always do, makes it look so much cleaner IMO

Pretty much anything aside from a leveling kit and some wheels/tires can draw my attention. Very few meet that criteria.

Decent amount of small lifts and wheel/tires setups around here though.

There are 4 2nd Gen Tundras within a couple blocks from my house. One on the same street. All stockers....I'm including the 14 refresh.

We have a lot of bro'd out Tundras in the Phoenix area, so there aren't many mods that you don't see on a regular basis...

I don't see many with retrofit headlights.

    I don't see many debadged.

    I don't see many with pug-hair interior.

Aside from wheels, tires, and a potential lift, I don't see any with mods. Not even chrome deletes.

I do see a lot of stockers 14+ with the tailgate lettering "mod".....
I had that too, but one day I looked at them after a couple beers and took them off. Best delete I've done besides the fake chrome bs.

Most 1st Gens I see on a daily basis are 2WD landscape/ construction trucks, or stock softball dads. I usually get a little excited when I see a 1st gen that's outside of those categories.

As for the newer trucks, there's an installation shop around here with their own bedside decals for Tacos and Tundras, I think the dealer sends people there or something. All of those trucks have started to look identical and boring to me. Same wheels, lift, decal and everything, but stock besides that.

@des2mtn I used to see lots of long travel 1st gens running around. Mostly in the IE but pretty often in SD as well. Now that I'm in Ventura I don't see too many long travel anything.

Yeah, I definitely see more LT tacos than 1st gens. There's two ACs I see regularly in Esco but other than that it's very sporadic.
