Just a picture dump at moment. Got it pretty stock, shitty re-paint on the hood but overall well cared for.

Do you have pictures of your bare floor, before you put the vinyl in by chance?

 

How does the vinyl floor fit? Any install tips to share?

How do you like the CK Rhino hide covers?

 

Impressive fabrication. Would love to put a pair of sliders like that on my '06 DC.

 

Ill see what I can find, May have deleted what I had. Any specific thing your trying to figure? Its a lot like.my Taco floor which has been exposed for years so may be able.to help

 

It fits OK, not perfect but im.happy. Do it when hot out, i waited on mine but my buddies t100 last winter was a bitch because the vinyl is stiff.

Also i trimmed wide around the front console even being careful because he also jacked his up there so really take time and trim at last possible moment. Im personally just gonna swap a Sequoia console to cover my mistake.

Dont try to add sound deadener under seat mounts or try to bolt the seat through vinyl, didnt make these mistakes on this truck but have seen it before and I cross threaded front seat mounts on the Taco way back when I put in my Beard seats. Its not a fun/easy fix.



On the CK.covers they are pretty cool, at 20% off i justified but full pop was too much for me. Fit is good but not as custom as people make them out (having had custom covers before). The material is awesome and makes my seats feel more plush so id say worth it. I removed the rear seats for install and Id remove for the Floor as well to make easier if I did again (didnt realize how easy it was or how much it would have helped).

 

Appreciate it, I just realized I hadnt updated the pics with the dimpled plate and all so did that. Unfortunately im just finally getting around to actually installing almost a year later because lifes been busy.

 

Had seen a product called Lizard Skin in a lot of Jeeps that I had considered replacing my carpet with awhile back (like Rhino Liner but for the interior). Haven't been able to find any good pictures of a Tundra with the carpet removed to get an idea of what it would look like though.

 

I wouldnt do it and I have a Monstalined exterior... love the stuff but at 200.00 the Vinyl/carpet is way easier and covers things liner wont like sheetmetal gaps on the rear seat platform. These trucks are far from being a tub like a Jeep.

On another note, how are you liking your Monstaliner, and how is it holding up? Paint is way down on my list of things to do, but I've been thinking about a textured exterior myself. Seems finding someone to apply it correctly is key, which I'd be worried about in my area. Would love to do the LineX, but the cost is so much higher it's hard to justify.

 

Did you have to use a heat gun to stretch it any? My back corner looks bad.

 

I didnt but I did wait for a 95+degree day to do it after having done my buddies t100 in middle of winter. That corner looked.like.it was gonna be bad for me too until it got hot in sun. Had the heat gun ready but never used

 

Thanks. I'm going to let it sit for a few days before I try to shape it with heat.
Besides the 2 rear corners, I'm pleased with how the vinyl turned out.
