It’d be cool if there was a black vinyl option for just the chrome on the handles giving a two tone look on the limited. Not a fan of the plastic covers that go over the whole handle and I’m not sure how’d that work with the smart key.

Dipped my overlays with matte black dip and I did the tailgate letters in a darker gray. I also have a lighter gray so we’ll see which one I end up going with. I Might go gray on the overlays as well if it looks really nice against the Cement.

Truck might be here tomorrow or probably Wednesday so I’ll decide once it’s here and I can look at which looks best. Who knows could end up staying with the matte black.

Finally got around to installing the X20 Smittybilt 10k, solenoid relocated and Blue Seas battery switch installed on a custom piece my friend made and designed.

My bumper was kinda different since it’s a Move but not made with the parts supplied by Move. The pieces supplied by Move were only used as stencils for the heavier gauge steel cut on my work’s plasma table. I picked up the Badlands 12k winch plate from HF and my friend fab’d it all up.

I think it turned out pretty good.

Installed OEM tailgate pop lock programmed to the fob remote. Will be upgrading/replacing factory bulbs with led's next. Then doing the backseat release mod. Then reinstalling swing cases in the bed.

So to answer your original question, looks like if I paid out of pocket it would be around $500.

I would highly advise everyone to protect your windshield, because I found out the hard way that with everything else, there’s a glass shortage! Took a few calls to find someone who could find a windshield for my truck.

Picked up my sliders from RCI, they’re beefy! Felt terrible, smashed one of the employee’s fingers between the bed and tailgate when loading everything. I owe that dude a beer or 7.

I’ll get the sliders on this weekend.

Additionally, RCI is in the process of designing and making an extension plate for their Transmission/Transfer case skid plate that will cover the CATs. The guy said maybe 2 months out.

Good to know. I added this in the comments section when I ordered last week.
Hopefully they bolt onto the existing skid.

Yea that’s what it sounds like. Extension plate would bolt to the skid and go all the way over to the frame so that you get complete coverage.

I wonder if that will work with their old 2 piece transfer/trans skid plate (vs. the newer 1 piece design). I really wish they had that one piece design when I bought them.

8 gal pressurized potable water tank mounts on custom Yakima HD overhaul rack system. Used grade 5 bolts due to mounting on side versus the top mount. My garage height is 7’5” and my trucks at 7’3”. Moved both bars to one side to increase the weight capability to 200#. I really like the look on the side angle. Already ordered another side bar set to even the truck bed look and will probably mount some other goodies, yet to be determined.

You might need to flip that cooler for it to be real effective. I remember @chasenicholas93 going into the details on orientation a bit and that having both ports down like that you are only using a small portion of the cooler. I could be remembering wrong, though. He'll correct me if I am.

That's great. I sent a message to Josh at RCI through the forum a few weeks ago. They were worried about demand, but an extension plate would sell. And they could add it to their full skid package and that would sell too.

Competition for Tyler, but great for us that want to keep our RCI stuff.

I don't think the orientation makes any difference (nor do the Hayden instructions dictate any particular orientation). This particular cooler holds about 1/2 cup of fluid, so not much pressure is required to keep fluid flowing through all the fins - gravity is not a factor here. The only thing that would affect the performance would be if some of the fins became clogged.

Yea I don’t think there will be an issue with demand, but that’s just my perspective. It’s a little more niche, as it’s an extension to existing skids rather than a stand alone piece. I think they could do the extension or stand alone skid and be good either way.

Is Tyler the guy that owns Valhalla? I’d love to get those, but doesn’t make sense for me to knowing they don’t fit with the RCI skids. I’d rather just buy the stand alone skid since I don’t really need a transmission/transfer case skid, but I’ll just get the whole thing from RCI and be good.

And the Valhalla plates don't really fit with your new sliders.

Looks awesome! Is it easy to remove/move the rear cross bar on the yakima rack system? I am thinking of getting this for my truck but I plan to throw my dirt bike in the back for transport. I mainly need the bars for when my wife and I paddleboard, for transport to and from the water from camp or the house, etc.

Looks like a clean setup, but do you have to detach in order to use the water? If not, two questions:
    1. How do you fill the tank? It appears that the fill inlet with the side mount will only allow you to fill about 1/2 way. I am assuming the large black cap is the fill inlet
    2. The pressurized outlet appears to be at the top. Is there a tube inside the tank to draw water from lower in the tank?

There is a hose attachment fitting that attaches to the red capped port. This port is also used for a hose and nozzle...
After a second view of the pictures if fies look like this is mounted on its side. the larger filling cap should be rotated to be on the top and the end fittings should be towards the bottom as well.
