Changed the rear brake pads on it yesterday. The dealer wanted to charge me $340 to do it. I paid $60 for the pads and did it in less than an hour.

Did they want to turn the rotors, or was that for just installing new pads?

He didn't say. But being that they tried to screw me over last week, I would assume just pads and labor.

from the looks of it the black circular clip that’s holding your new locking mechanism rod to the lock pin is upside down, the clip should have the ‘teeth’ pointed upward.

For now I'm just keeping the chrome handles it's just enough contrast. I was also considering the black chrome off the nightshade edition. As much as I'd like the color matched handles I'm not about to drop $600 on door handles!

It shouldn't take that long, but I like to build in a bit of a buffer regarding delivery expectation. Also, they are busy AF.

That looks awesome!!!! How did you do that? I think that’s the perfect looks. I don’t mind touches of chrome here and there so that will really help tie in the chrome and black on the rest of the truck.

Go on ebay and search black chrome for the Tundra, I found a kit that come with door handles, mirror covers and the tailgate handle. More or less nightshade

Look up TVD vinyl, very easy install!

It’d be cool if there was a black vinyl option for just the chrome on the handles giving a two tone look on the limited. Not a fan of the plastic covers that go over the whole handle and I’m not sure how’d that work with the smart key.

Dipped my overlays with matte black dip and I did the tailgate letters in a darker gray. I also have a lighter gray so we’ll see which one I end up going with. I Might go gray on the overlays as well if it looks really nice against the Cement.

Truck might be here tomorrow or probably Wednesday so I’ll decide once it’s here and I can look at which looks best. Who knows could end up staying with the matte black.

Finally got around to installing the X20 Smittybilt 10k, solenoid relocated and Blue Seas battery switch installed on a custom piece my friend made and designed.

My bumper was kinda different since it’s a Move but not made with the parts supplied by Move. The pieces supplied by Move were only used as stencils for the heavier gauge steel cut on my work’s plasma table. I picked up the Badlands 12k winch plate from HF and my friend fab’d it all up.

I think it turned out pretty good.

So to answer your original question, looks like if I paid out of pocket it would be around $500.

I would highly advise everyone to protect your windshield, because I found out the hard way that with everything else, there’s a glass shortage! Took a few calls to find someone who could find a windshield for my truck.
